Day 2 Private transfer to Petra, with stops in Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Wadi Mujib, Kerak
After breakfast, our English speaking driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to visit Madaba, an ancient city best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. The 6th-century Madaba Mosaic Map on the floor of the Church of Saint George is the most famous one. It is the world's oldest surviving map of the Holy Land, which is formed by nearly two million mosaic pieces representing important biblical sites.

Afterwards, we will go on following the Petra tours from Amman to visit Mt. Nebo, one of Jordan's most significant Christian pilgrimage sites, located 9.5 km (6 mi) from Madaba. It is said to be the place where Moses, during his final days, was granted to see the Promise Land or the Holy Land that he would never enter, and buried after death. About 710 meters (2,330 feet) above sea level, its top offers a great view of overlooking Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Jerusalem in Israel.

Next, we will drive by Wadi Mujib, a spectacular river canyon which enters the Dead Sea and leave you some time to take photos. Then we will continue driving to Kerak Castle, one of the six notable crusader castles in Jordan. It was strategically built on the top of a mountain in the 12th century, with the advantaged position to control Bedouin herders and trade caravans travelling among ancient Syria, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Later, we will depart for Petra and stay overnight at a local guesthouse.

Day 3 Highlight tour in "Rose-Red City" Petra, Drive back to Amman
The Petra tour starts in the morning. Once a prosperous trading center and the capital of Nabataean Kingdom between 400 B.C. and 106, surrounded by mountains riddled with passages and gorges, Petra is a city almost carved from the rose-red sandstone rocks. The rock-cut architecture created by ancient Nabataean is remarkable. Here an English speaking local guide will accompany you to tour around the charming Petra city for around 2.5 hours.

You will take a horse ride from the entrance to Siq, a deep narrow gorge leading to The Treasure or Al-Khazneh Temple, one of the most representative buildings in Petra built into a sandstone cliff with excellent Hellenistic elements. After the visit to this temple, you could walk along the main road and sightsee other sites in the city such as Royal Tombs, The Theatre, and Qasr al-Bin Temple on your own. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Amman at the end of the Petra tours, which will take about 2.5 hours. After arrival, check in the hotel and have a good rest.

Day 4 Airport see-off after Jerash tour
In the morning, your driver will transfer you to the Roman Ruins of Jerash located 50 km (31 mi) from Amman. It is one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman ruins in the world, featuring grand temples, theatres, magnificent ceremonial gates, and colonnaded streets. With the company of a local English-speaking guide, you will have a wonderful time during the 2-hour sightseeing.

When the Jerash tour is over, your driver will send you to the airport at Amman and see you off there. Thanks for booking the tour services. Wish you all the best!
