Bucharest Highlights with Danube Delta

Welcome to Bucharest and join our Bucharest tour! Our driver will pick you up at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel. Later, we will enjoy a leisurely walk around the old town of Bucharest for an hour.

We will set off from the hotel after breakfast. First, drive for 3.5 hours to Tulcea city, then ride a speedboat for an hour to Crisan village to enjoy the private boat tour in Danube Delta for 3-4 hours. The Danube Delta is home to many birds and waterfowl, who wander freely through the waters, play leisurely around and forage for food. There you can enjoy bird-watching and the gorgeous sunset. We will stay at Crisan tonight.

Today the guide will escort you to explore other areas of the Danube Delta, including the Mila 23 Village and Caraorman Forest. After lunch (on your own expense) we will return to Tulcea by boat and then drive 3 hours to the hotel in Buzau.

After breakfast, go to visit the Muddy Volcanoes near Buzau. After the tour we will take a 45-min car ride to Lacerta, one of the most special wineries in Romania. The wine here is silky and mellow. 3 types of local wines are included in this tour. There will also be a presentation of the winery. After we will drive for 2 hours to arrive in Sinaia to visit the luxurious Peles Castle. Finally, the guide will show you around the square in the center of Brasov. Tonight we will stay in Brasov.

After visiting the 14th-century Black Church in the morning, we will leave Brasov and drive for 40 minutes to Zarnesti, home to the largest brown bear sanctuary in the world. Here we will enjoy an 1h adventure in the forest with a local guide. After that, the driver guide will lead you to two of Romania's most famous medieval castles, Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle. Finally, drive for 2.5 hours to the hotel in Bucharest. Have a good rest tonight to restore energy.

After having breakfast, we will start today's trip with the visit to the Palace of Parliament and the Village Museum for 2 hours. If time permits, the guide will arrange a visit to the Snagov Monastery, too. Vlad the Impaler, the original vampire character of Dracula's novels, is said to be buried here. Then the driver guide will send you to the airport on time. It was a great pleasure to serve you in this tour.
