Day 3 Small Carpathians Wine Tour
Today, we will arrange a Bratislava wine tour for you. As the nearby Small Carpathian Wine Region is the largest wine producing region in Slovakia, we will have a 6-hour tour there. The guide and the driver will pick you up from the hotel and accompany you there at around 9:00 am.

First of all, we will go to the Red Stone Castle (Strecno Castle). This magnificent, well-preserved Renaissance period castle was built in the 13th century as a part of the Hungarian border project. Its exterior structure is in typical Gothic style, while the interior decoration is dominated by the Baroque style. The castle's main attraction is the vast underground complex of wine cellars and dungeons. It should be noted that the castle is not red in appearance although it's called Red Stone Castle, but white in color. It is named so because the stones of its base are red.

Then we will go to Modra, a town famous for its grape growing and handmade pottery art. During the visit to the Majolica Ceramic Factory, you can buy some exquisite souvenirs for your family and friends. After that we will go to visit Pezinok to learn more about the locals' life, and the region's long history of wine production.

At noon please have a self-paid lunch and the guide will be glad to give you some recommendations both on the restaurants and food. Afterwards, we will arrange you a wine degustation in Svaty Jur. When the trip ends, we will send you back to the hotel.
