Essential Brazil & Argentina

Thank you for choosing our Brazil and Argentina tour and welcome to the "City of God" - Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, your tour guide and driver will pick you up at Rio de Janeiro International Airport (GIG) on time, and then drive about 20 km to transfer you to the hotel. There is no activities arranged for the rest of the day. You can have a good rest or you can explore the city by yourself.

After breakfast, the guide and the driver will take you to the first stop, Sugarloaf Mountain. Take a cable car to the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain, then we'll overlook Rio City and the beautiful Guanabara Bay. After visiting the mountain, we'll go to explore the Maracanã stadium and Rio's Cathedral staircase. Next, have a walk in the old Rio and visit the "Cultural Corridor" there. Finally, send you back to the hotel for rest.

Your guide and the driver will pick you up at the hotel after you enjoy your breakfast and start today's leisurely sightseeing trip. The first stop today is the world-famous Statue of Christ Redeemer. Whether it is day or night, it can be seen from most parts of the city, which makes it the most famous symbol of Rio de Janeiro. The next stop is Iguazu. It is described as "the world's largest tropical forest located in a city". After the visit, we will send you back to the hotel.

This morning, your tour guide and driver will send you to the airport for flight to Iguazu. Upon arrival, we will pick you up and head to visit the world famous Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side. The lunch is on your own. In the afternoon, we'll visit the Iguazu Bird Park, the biggest bird park in South America located beside the Iguazu Falls where you will see cute parrots, toucan and other tropical birds. After, transfer you to a local nice hotel.

After breakfast in hotel, the guide will accompany you to travel across the border to Argentina Iguazu National Park by car which will take about 1 hour. In the Argentina Iguazu National Park we'll admire the Iguazu Falls in a close distance. The center of the falls is the huge Devil's Throat. The visit time will be about half day. Afternoon we'll send you to Puerto Iguazu Airport for you to take 2 hours' flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, the driver will be waiting for you at the exit and transfer you to the hotel.

Today we'll visit Recoleta Cemetery, Palermo Woods, San Telmo Market and Puerto Madero. Then head to Plaza de Mayo square where we'll visit the exterior of Casa Rosada. Next, go to Avenida 9 de Julio to see the Obelisk and the appearance of Theater Colon. Finally go to La Boca and Caminito, a traditional alley full of wall-paintings. In the evening, we will arrange the delicious dinner with the tango show for you. After, send you back to the hotel.

The driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport. Today you need to take a flight to El Calafate, taking about 3 hours. Upon arrival, the driver there will pick you up at the airport and send you to the hotel. The rest of the time is free on your own.

Today we will drive to Glacier National Park via Provincial Highway N°11, which is about 75 kilometers (47 mi) and takes 1.5 hours. Along this road, we can see different landscapes including the Patagonian Steppe and the Magellan Forest. On the way we will also visit Argentine Lake. Half of the Glacier National Park is occupied by the Hielo Continental Patagnico, which is the largest ice field after Antarctica Ice Sheet. Entering the park, we will walk on the sidewalk to see the glacier from different angles. With luck, you might see a piece of ice falling off from the glacier wall and sinking forever into the lake. After that, we will take a shared boat to admire the 80-meter-high Moreno Glacier up close. After the trip, return to the hotel.

According to the flight time, your driver will send you to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Your holiday comes to an end and we wish you a happy journey home.
