Everything is wonderful. You planned such a great experience. Ethan is well organized and thinks of everything. Our driver gets us around safely. They take great care of us. We had weird weather today while visiting the wall. It will definitely be something to remember. Ethan said that this never happened to him in 12 years of being a guide. "I have travelled to many countries, and have taken many guided tours. Tour operators differ, and often what is advertised is not what is delivered. That was not the case with TravelChinaGuide Tours. To begin with, I reached out for the sole purpose of booking our train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Beijingnan. The arrangements were incredibly smooth and absolutely perfectly planned. We were delivered what we hoped for and even when a change was made prior to travel, the request was accommodated without any pause or issue. During the course of scheduling the train, I learned of other tours and abilities of TravelChinaGuide Tours. We had our transportation to and from the station and the hotel arranged for, and we changed our planned excursion from another provider - simply because of the way I was treated by Sophie and Christina. I had a feeling that this was who I needed to engage for our travel tour needs. We arranged for a trip to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Included was a buffet lunch. Our situation was a bit different, as my wife currently travels using a cane due to an injury she sustained last year while in Shanghai. There was never a concern mentioned, and I was assured that the guide would take her limitations into consideration. Our Guide, Sarah, was nothing less than incredible. Sarah arrived at our hotel early, and was eagerly waiting our arrival. She met us with a smile and was easy to identify. Right from the beginning, we felt at ease and as if we were actually traveling with a friend as opposed to a professional guide (then again, is that not what a professional guide is supposed to do, but often does not?). She travelled at our pace, and provided so much invaluable and interesting information during the tour. Never did we feel rushed or get the feeling that we were dragging her behind, nor did we sense any form of irritation when we had to slow the pace a bit. I think she was actually a bit surprised with the ability of my wife to navigate things with a cane, but again, it was never made an issue. Lunch provided was equally as impressive, even if a “designated” stop for most tours. There was an abundance of food of every kind - vegetarian needs were met along with us carnivores and pescatarians. Delicious, fresh and nicely and clearly displayed along with english translations. It was actually one of the better meals that we had during the Beijing portion of our trip! The tour itself was nothing less than perfect. We walked the entirety of the Forbidden City and along the way Sarah would explain the different aspects of the city itself, along with the history of Beijing and Nanjing and the different emperors and powers the developed China as we know it today. This was not just a history lesson - it was a comfortable dive into the history of China that was interesting, engaging and left us wanting to learn and do more. At “the Wall”, we were similarly educated as to the nature of the wall, why and by whom it was built and the modernization / repair that has taken place at different points along the structure itself. Once again, we were left wanting to learn more, not because we did not learn enough or that was was shared was typical tour guide “fluff”, but because of Sarah’s knowledge and enthusiasm it made us want to. In fact, we are already planning our trip next year and will certainly look to TravelChinaGuide Tours and Sarah to fill the need. Without question. TourChinaGuide Tours, Sophie, Christina and Sarah, are absolutely the best professional tour guides and operators that you could hope for. I highly recommend them for any of your travel tour needs in Beijing and wherever they may be. They have certainly earned my complete trust."

"My family and I truly enjoyed the visit to China. It was all I expected plus more, I am proud of being of Chinese descent and seeing all of that, made me prouder. The guides were phenomenal, especially Lily, she took the time to meet multiple parties in Beijing from same company that were leaving Beijing to Xian. Making sure all parties and belongings made over in the transfer. Her favorite line was: stick together like sticky rice, hahaha Kevin offered us options on our itinerary moving things around due to weather and keeping the whole initial group together. Marco mentioned of a night tour and most of the group was interested even though not part of the itinerary, but since most wanted to go, he tagged along making sure we all knew our way. Great plus was that he spoke Cantonese, hahahaha. I felt immediately more comfortable and at easy since I spoke Cantonese and not Mandarin. My wife knows a little bit of Mandarin, but I only know Cantonese. Molly was great too, although our stay and interaction with her was shorter than all, she made sure we were all situated for everybody's departure. It was a rainy stay in Shanghai, but she soldiered along with the group, hehehe. I saw you briefly in Xian hotel lobby, but didn't have opportunity to talk to you as I was busy making sure wife and kids were all together and ready. I truly thank you for not giving up on my quote even though I had to delay due to circumstances back in US and kids school schedule. You responded to any questions I had about the package and promptly. The itinerary was perfect being my first time to China. Originally, I wasn't so sure about an online tour company, but I heard from others in the group great things about your company which made me feel more at ease. I am planning another future trip next year or so to China and would love to use your company again, but this time bringing my Dad with us. He is Chinese born and was really happy with me visiting his homeland. He wants to come with us next visit, but he is 80 years old. So, I am trying to get something easier considering his age. Once again, Thanks for all you did in getting this package together and keeping me informed all along of all the guides I would be meeting and providing their contact and train and plane fares and above all, not giving up on me. "We absolutely loved China and our tour with TravelChinaGuide. We have been praising it to all our family and friends. Firstly I want to thank you for all your assistance in planning the trip. You always responded promptly and made the process seamless. I especially want to thank you so much for your help on the first night we arrived in Beijing. We arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm after a very long day of travel. We then realised that we were missing our backpack which contained our laptop, folder containing all documents, and all our device chargers. Have to admit that we were in a bit of a panic, especially as we had another week in China after the tour. With the help of the hotel staff, we contacted you and you immediately acted, locating the friendly driver who went out of his way and returned the bag the same night even though he was probably already home. We were so grateful , and the outcome would have been very different if it were not for the excellent service. The trip itself exceeded our expectations. The hotels in Beijing and Xian were exceptional in every way. Although the Sheraton in Guilin wasn't of the same standard, this may have been due to availability in Guilin and it was still ok. The tour guides were all great. Especially Carol in X'ian who was charming, very informative and looked after each individual to make the tour the best it could be. Eg: even at the restaurants she was so attentive helping each person with their orders . Kevin was also very good, and changed the tour around to suit the group and days agenda. eg: It was raining after visiting the Great wall. The group was all tired , so we went back to the hotel, and fitted in the Hutongs early the next morning instead. We thought China was lovely, and the people so friendly. Hopefully we can return one day."

Our trip to China was the most interesting vacation we have had. The sights were very interesting and the guides were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was very well organized. "concerning me, everything was perfect... the discovery of a country where everything is excessive. The program was very varied, it allowed us to see magnificent sites. maybe too many temples, but as each one is different, it went very well.
