I’ve now found the time to write a proper, more detailed reply. The main point is that I was very satisfied with Travel China and can only recommend that everyone uses TCG. The details: Booking. The website is clearly laid out; I found it helpful and well-designed. I also really liked the fact that, once I’d finished, I could access all my bookings in one place with a single login. There is room for improvement, though – I had to search for a while to find the option to book tickets for the show and the zoo, and I’m sure there were other things I didn’t spot (in other cities). The support you provided was excellent. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to go on the trip to Datong, as we weren’t staying at a hotel there. You sorted it out brilliantly by combining it with the train tickets. It was also great that the zoo tickets could be rebooked without any hassle when the zoo was closed due to bad weather. I wasn’t so keen on the fact that the excursions in Beijing were organised by someone else; I would have preferred to have you as the point of contact for everything. We were very satisfied with the four excursions. We saw a lot; it was superbly organised – there’s nothing that could have been done better. The first three tour guides – Roger, Lilly and Helen – were very good; Jessica was all right, though the sound quality was very poor. In the end, I was annoyed that I hadn’t booked the hotels through TCG as well. Unfortunately, a friend who lives in Shanghai only told me about TCG far too late, when I’d asked him how to book train tickets. By then, the hotels had already been booked. And that’s my final suggestion. TCG should be more visible in European search engines. I’ve just checked again, and TCG doesn’t even appear as an option. It’s a shame for everyone who misses out on you, and for you too. We were very impressed by China and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Thank you very much for your significant contribution to that.

Working with Wendy is a delight- she helped refine our 10+ days tour that traversed 5 provinces. Everything is well organized and we all have a memorable trip. All the tour guides were great! Omar (Urumqi-Turpan) is exceptional in time management- he made sure we didna€?t miss any interesting stops in our action packed days. And when the Gochang donkey ride is not available, he replaced it with an even better horse carriage ride to Turpana€?s night market! Lily (Dunhuang) is so resourceful and well connected- the extra activities she arranged for us were an extra bonus! Carol (Xian) is very detail oriented, and was able to juggle our activities in lieu of the heavy traffic around the City Wall area. Her caring and dedication really shined when she went the extra miles to help us navigate the Emergency system when my son had gastroenteritis, she stayed with us from evening till late night. Adam (Luoyang) is very knowledgeable and shared with us many interesting sites, no skipping even when it was rainy.

We never had to worry about a thing because your team had already thought of everything. Before booking, I spent a great deal of time researching companies for a China tour, comparing itineraries, reviews and prices. I can honestly say this trip exceeded every expectation. It was exceptional value for money, and without doubt one of the best holidays we have ever taken. Thank you so much for your help in this booking, I know it wasn’t easy with us not doing the same thing. You made everything very easy and I will definitely be in touch when I have another group travelling. I am planning to return with my friend and her family. Everything worked like clockwork, the guides in Xian (Roger), Zhangjiajie (Tony) and Beijing (Helen) were fantastic. Roger had a huge amount of knowledge and the group was very happy. Tony was excellent and our Henry and I had the best time in Zhangjiajie, it was a highlight. Helen was fantastic as well, she gave great advice to help us get through security quickly for the forbidden city so we could maximise our time. She really knew the best ways to do things. They were all fantastic, the drivers were all amazing as well.

We really enjoyed our tour to China. It was well organised and good value. The communication was very good prior to, and throughout, the trip. It was very helpful to receive the WeChat contact details for the various Guides, prior to our arrival at each destination. The destinations and sights selected were all interesting and it was a pleasure to visit. The hotels were all of a good standard and seemed to be well located. I was pleased we upgraded our train tickets to 1st Class. The Guides were all great. They were all waiting to meet us as we arrived by plane, or train, and they were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to chat with them about their own lives, and get to know them personally (Selina, Tracy, Minmin, Linda, Carol and Ada). I was also very happy with Wendy's assistance in organising the trip. Your communication was prompt and clear, and overall it was easy to make all the arrangements.

I pick up my family at the airport. They were sad to leave China. They love it .Every single day. Very impressed how clean everything is. How people are very nice and kind. I local restaurants all very helpful with helping choosing from menu in Chinese language. Guide were very pleasant informative some came with their children which was wonderful. They made friends with them, Cora love girls, they were communicating holding hands. Brian took over 5000 pictures. Everything what you planned for them for excellent choices and educational. We have just returned from our trip to China, expertly planned by Emily. I don't know what we would have done without her help. From me changing things last minute, to requesting different hotels from the norm.. Emily was so helpful. I'm really glad I booked with Travel China Guide and Emily, I will be recommending her to any friends that want to travel to China. There was only a little blip and that was with train bookings over the dragon boat festival period, but lack of availability wasn't Emily's fault.

As already informed during the voyage, all arrangements concerning our trip schedule worked exactly as programmed. My family had recently gone for a holiday trip managed by TravelChinaGuide to China Jiangnan comprising Hangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing. The itinerary was well planned at a leisurely pace allowing us to enjoy the beautiful and historic scenic views of the West Lake, Red Carp Pond, Leifeng Tower, and Linyi Temple. At Suzhou Wuxi, we visited the Yuantouzhu Park and the Lingshan Grand Buddha, a truly awesome sight. When we were at Nanjing, we visited Dr. Sun Yat- sen's Mausoleum and the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Throughout these 10 days we were well taken care of by the team of professional tour guides, with warmth and personal care. Here we want to make a special mention of the friendly and proactive guide at Hangzhou, Ealing whose dedication is excellent. The hotels arranged for our stay are comfortable and the agency has selected hotels whose locations are usually near the city centre or shopping malls. This is a great arrangement. Lastly I must thank our Travel Consultant, Kina Lu for her patience, prompt response to enquiries and all in all great customer service to enable our holiday a smooth and memorable journey. Thanks. Our trip has been great! We just wanted to let you know that Oscar is an excellent guide, the best we’ve had. His English is really good, and he knows exactly where to go for the best view, to avoid lines, to park, etc. He is very considerate. He always held all our stuff, and he was really nice to my elderly dad, making sure he was okay and that he wouldn’t fall. He also took nice pictures of us. He was very punctual and always checked in with us. When we were late one morning, he was very flexible and changed our times tickets. He was very comfortable and easy to get along with. He helped us order at meals and always are sure we were taken care of. We can not thank him enough!

We had a super China holiday arranged by u Kina Lu thanks. All the site seeing arrangements made by u were perfect, including the bullet train ticketing, we really enjoyed our train travel in the first class. The travel guides u organised for us, they all were very fluent in English and friendly, professional and they all went the extra mile in providing excellent customer service for us. Dear Wendy We enjoyed our vacation in China a lot. Thank you, Wendy, for the organisation - everything worked flawlessly. When I had questions, we received rapid answers as we needed it, that was very reassuring and helpful. We spent a week in Xinyiang. This was very interesting, John was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Mr. Ding, our driver was very helpful. All the hotels were very good. The only minor complaint I have is about the breakfast at Sayram Lake, where I really missed some coffee. Xinyiang is huge, so it involves a lot of very long driving between sites. We spent enough time at the different attractions and the tour felt well-paced and not too hurried. We did a daytrip to Luoyang. Syndey did a great job showing us the sites and explaining the different points, including steering us around the larger masses of people and adapting the tour to our desired pace. She was very motivated and it was a very fun day. I did unfortunately not catch the driver's name, but he drove us safely and in comfort where we needed to be. The second day trip was in Beijing. Our guide Olivia showed us the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. She handled the disruption due to Donald Trump's visit very nicely and adapted the program on the fly. She could show us a lot of things and made sure we had a lot of photos, a fact my wife particularly appreciates. It was a very full day, but we had a lot of fun. The driver was especially helpful at the Great Wall, and did a good job. In summary we were very happy with both the planning, and the service provided by the guides and drivers. Next time in China, we will certainly plan again with Travel China Guide.
