Thanks so much for organizing such a wonderful trip! From the moment we landed in Cairo airport the Egyptian tour guides make us feel special! They meet us at the gate and took us through every step to get to the hotel. It was such a big surprise and tremendous help. Same thing happened in Aswan- they meet us at the gate and guide us through everything. They take care of all paperwork and got us a wonderful room. We feel like they are not just tour guides but personal assistants that do everything for you without even asking! The tour guides are great and very knowledgeable Egyptologists. Every day they make it special with program organization and providing info. To organize trips that way that we beat the crowds and enjoy attractions . To provide extra information, answer all questions, helping with local details. Thanks so much!!!

I would had liked the opportunity to post this review on trip advise directly, however here is our review.
I wanted to thank you for making the entire arrangement process so easy and enjoyable. You were incredibly patient while we changed our plans several times, and you remained available even after we had left. You made everything we wanted possible and delivered the trip exactly as promised.
We especially want to highlight our driver, Mr. Satish Kumar. He stayed with us throughout the whole trip and was absolutely fantastic. Every day, after dropping us back at the hotel following our sightseeing, he reminded us that he was there for us regardless of the time and that, if we needed anything, he would come straight away. He always made sure we were hydrated, and we had so much fun and so many laughs with him.
He even took a group photo of us and used AI to place us in traditional clothing, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. We travel frequently and have had many private drivers, but Satish was by far the best. He was an absolute treasure, and we would strongly recommend Satish Kumar to anyone as he was the best of the best.
We would also like to share some feedback about our tour guides:
- **Dinesh in Delhi** was very informative and knowledgeable. However, we felt that he could have shown a little more interest in us personally.
- **Sanjay in Agra** was a hoot! He was highly informative, a wonderful conversationalist, and had a hilarious dry sense of humour that made us feel very comfortable around him. We spent each day laughing with him—he was incredibly funny.
- **Ganesh in Jaipur** was just as knowledgeable as Sanjay. He did an excellent job of connecting the family histories of the Mughal rulers, which really completed the story for us. He was also very patient and understanding while I was dealing with the heat and humidity.
Thank you again, Emily, for all your help in arranging such a memorable trip.

This trip was truly the trip of a lifetime and we definitely want to return to Japan someday. The instructions with photos and Japanese text for getting around were very clear. The accommodations were good, and Hakone was definitely the best stop, with the food and staying at the ryokan. We also took a bike tour through Osaka, which was a lot of fun. The weather outside was very hot, but the subway was quite comfortable temperature-wise. The only thing to complain about is that the trip was too short. Next time, we plan to arrange a longer duration with you.

We absolutely loved our japan tour! Everything went smoothly, and the trains, accommodations, excursions, etc. were all to our satisfaction. The travelling by metro was very easy and that it was actually nice to have the opportunity to cool down for a bit. The only suggestion is arranged a transfer from the accommodation to the airport for the return journey.

We returned from our trip yesterday. Everything was very well organized. The hotels were excellent and conveniently located close to the train stations. The train tickets were loaded onto a Suica card, which was waiting for them at the first hotel. Everything was very straightforward and easy to understand. The ryokan in Hakone was a real highlight as well. We loved it, and the included dinner was excellent.

A wonderful trip so far. Mongolia is a true gem. The local travel company is doing a great job. The guide and driver are the best. I could not imagine more professional , friendly and sweet persons. They are making this trip a lifetime memory. Congratulations for working them. In fact your choice of international local agents is impeccable since our first experience with Agate Travel / Travel China Guide (to Indonesia in 2023).

I have to tell you from the outset that the entire trip was not only amazing but more than once, went far beyond our expectations like having the entire La Latansa boat, in Komodo, to ourselves ! The guides were all excellent and knowledgeable and they not only took care of delivering the information but also took care of all our hotel and airport checkins and made sure that we were aware of all the dining arrangements. Fabian in Komodo was particularly enthusiastic, wanting to show us all the fantastic snorkelling sites that are not normally accessible to other tourists and making sure that we got the best photos of the Komodo Dragons on the island itself. Another guide that deserves a special mention is Ramen Basu in Kolkata whose style and passion are unique. Jigme and the driver in Bhutan, not only guided us everywhere but climbed the 2 big hikes in Bhutan with us. We also had Rinus in Jakarta, Aan in Yogyakarta, Wira in Bali and Abhi and Rohan in Mauritius. We were very pleased with all of their services. All the hotels were excellent and in most places we were even upgraded !! The only problem we had with the accommodation was at the Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta where, despite being on the 8th floor, the motorbike noise from the street below is so loud and persists until the early hours of the morning that we hardly got any sleep during the first 2 nights. Perhaps they could improve the soundproofing of the rooms. All the excursions were fantastic and the program was very well planned. It was very good that we heeded your advice to do Indonesia before Bhutan as this gave us the chance to get used to the ever increasing challenges of the various climbing hikes in the program, peaking with the climb to Tiger's Nest on the 31st March which went very smoothly. We are very happy with your attention to detail, organization and support, even during the tour itself where we had to get back to you to assist us with new boarding passes as in Indonesia they changed the flight schedule twice. You may not be aware but you are already taking care of our son and his family who will be going to Japan in September (Andre and Mandy Gatt). We hope to plan another similar holiday next year which will include the Philippines among other countries in the region. We will definitely come back to you for another unforgettable holiday ! "We returned with wonderful memories from Vietnam. The three guides (Andy, Shang and Harry) were great. They spoke good English, answered all of our questions and were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The places that we visited were all very interesting, involving a lot of walking in 35oC temperature with 80% humidity, but that's part of the fun.... We liked a lot the cruise in Ha Long Bay, the Pagoda in Hue, the Old Town in Hoi An and the floating market in the Mekong Delta. All hotels were fantastic but the May De Ville in Hanoi was a bit cramped. The best ones were the Indochina Palace in Hue and the La Siesta in Hoi An. Your support during the booking process was very good. You always answered our questions promptly and in a clear way. This was our second tour with you and we'll definitely use your services again whenever appropriate."

We were so positive about their trip, everything was perfect. We traveled with grandma, daughter and two little children. They really enjoyed the time in Disney. The Public transport was very good, also the guides were helping very good. Our luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto was all good – we only had a small package to Hakone, thanks for mentioning this. It was not too busy traveling in this period (we thought this before, because traveling during Golden Week) Before booking we was a little bit nerves and we want everything perfect. During this tour we were so happy and thankful, for sure that we really had a good time in Japan. So i hope spread this experience to other people!

Have been delayed in responding as it has been very busy and a bit stressful since we have returned. But the tour was so good that we eventually knew that we would find the time to respond. Our trip was unusual as I ended up taking a big fall in Thimphu on the first day in Bhutan. Our guide and driver were the best you could possibly have under the circumstances. I was brought to the emergency room of the largest hospital in Bhutan and was given such excellent care that our trip continued the next day as planned. Our guide Ram and our driver Poob were the absolute best. We did not know how to properly thank them so we took your recommended gratuity and doubled it. Because of my fall, they recommended that I not attempt Tigers Nest (but my wife did go). They arranged for me to rent a helicopter (one of only two in Bhutan available at the time) and we saw Tigers Nest up close from the air. in short, this was the second outstanding tour from Travel China Guide Tours and you definitely be used again on our planned revisit to China as well as other destinations in Asia. Thank you again for arranging such a memorable tour.

My husband and I wanted to visit Cambodia for quite some time. When I was planning our trip, I knew that a visit to the historic Angkor Wat temples was definitely on our list, but I wasn’t sure about what else to visit in Cambodia. Mrs Wendy Lee did a really nice job helping us to plan our trip. We had a few conversations with her to describe what we were interested in doing/seeing and she came up with a suggested itinerary and made all the arrangements. From the moment I first contacted her, 6 months prior our trip to the conclusion of it, she always replied quickly via email. The price she quoted us was great, better than the prices of other companies I had also contacted. Cambodia is an amazing place with so much to see. During our 14-day tour we visit Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Battambang, Kampot and Koh Rong Island. The country is incredibly rich in culture and natural beauty. Every place we visited had something unique and special that made it stand out. Cambodian people are incredibly kind, gentle and their hospitality is superb. From beginning to end, everything was perfect and there were no mishaps. The hotels were really good, the service outstanding and the guides and drivers knowledgeable, caring and concerned for our safety. Of the wonderful places in Cambodia, Siem Reap temples were the most amazing experience made only better by our guide, Mr Heng Sourchanrith. He was brilliant in ensuring that we not only saw a range of sites, but we also had a lot of background information, giving us detailed explanations about the places, the historical context, the art and meaning of the symbols and writings that cover the walls and piles of the temples. Also explain to us many legends about the places we visited and the people who lived there in those times and about the live and the culture of the in Cambodia in nowadays. I also must note he was particularly good with the timing of our visits to the busier places, which avoided most of the crowds. Thank you for an amazing trip. We have no hesitation in recommending this company. If we return to Southeast Asia, we will book through them again.

All guides except one were exceptional. The other was good. The guides were knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. Having drivers really facilitates the trip. Having personal guides and drivers for just the two of us is the way to travel. Agate Travel kept up with what was always happening. The hotels were nice. All the people that we met were very friendly and welcoming. My wife is legally blind and has limited mobility. I must eat gluten free and dairy free. Options were always available for us. The only problem with the trip is that it was supposed to be dry season, but it rained all but two days. We had rain gear and were able to keep going. Based upon our experience we recommend Agate Travel trips. Five stars.
