"We absolutely loved China and our tour with TravelChinaGuide. We have been praising it to all our family and friends. Firstly I want to thank you for all your assistance in planning the trip. You always responded promptly and made the process seamless. I especially want to thank you so much for your help on the first night we arrived in Beijing. We arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm after a very long day of travel. We then realised that we were missing our backpack which contained our laptop, folder containing all documents, and all our device chargers. Have to admit that we were in a bit of a panic, especially as we had another week in China after the tour. With the help of the hotel staff, we contacted you and you immediately acted, locating the friendly driver who went out of his way and returned the bag the same night even though he was probably already home. We were so grateful , and the outcome would have been very different if it were not for the excellent service. The trip itself exceeded our expectations. The hotels in Beijing and Xian were exceptional in every way. Although the Sheraton in Guilin wasn't of the same standard, this may have been due to availability in Guilin and it was still ok. The tour guides were all great. Especially Carol in X'ian who was charming, very informative and looked after each individual to make the tour the best it could be. Eg: even at the restaurants she was so attentive helping each person with their orders . Kevin was also very good, and changed the tour around to suit the group and days agenda. eg: It was raining after visiting the Great wall. The group was all tired , so we went back to the hotel, and fitted in the Hutongs early the next morning instead. We thought China was lovely, and the people so friendly. Hopefully we can return one day."

Our trip to China was the most interesting vacation we have had. The sights were very interesting and the guides were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was very well organized. How refreshing it was- not to have to worry about details: transportation to a venue, where to eat, hotel selection and checking in, and city to city transfers. The tour was well organized and Wendy was able to make some changes based on my preferences. She always replied to me promptly and when I was in China she was able to answer my questions quickly. Payment was easy. The tour guides in every city were all excellent as well as the drivers. One of the trips with train involved hard sleeper train which I didn’t enjoy as soft sleeper train was not available. Otherwise we had a blast

We recently used Lilly for Gullian and surroundings trip and I couldn’t be more impressed. It was an amazing experience! Everything was wonderful! The hotels were all very nice, the guides were all very knowledgeable, and all the logistics went smoothly. We particularly appreciated the guides in Jaipur (Ganesh) and Agra (Ali), who were very informative about all the history of the places we visited and knew the best places to take photos. Our driver in the north, Anand Sharma, took very good care of us and was an excellent driver. The restaurants we went to were all excellent!

The hotel in Goa turned out to be perfect! There were actually a number of restaurants right off the property that didn't show up on Google maps, and we really enjoyed our free day there. We were also glad we added a day in Mumbai. It gave us more time to explore the city.

Our guide Maggie got in touch the day before and we were able to plan the tour together. Maggie and the bus arrived at the hotel on time and she provided us with in-depth information during the journey.

It was my first time in China and what a great experience!
Communication was very good overall but especially before the tour, Nicole responded to all my queries and relayed all the relevant information clearly in a timely manner.
The guides and drivers were all very professional, especially Candy in Beijing with a very pleasant way of explaining history.
The hotels were also very good especially in Beijing & Xi'an, minor issues in Shanghai but resolved very quickly.
Overall a well organised small group tour and I am happy with the services provided.

We went to Beijing, Pingyao, Xian, and Guilin with Wendy Lee, and would highly recommend them. Advanced English speaking guides that were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful even beyond the call of duty. I tripped and scraped my arm when about to tour the Great Wall. Instead of just letting me wash it off and go, our guide took me to a desk where they had a first aid kit. He put disinfectant and lots of bandaids on it himself (about an 8 inch wound) before proceeding with our tour. I was so grateful. Each driver was safe and had a clean car. They all helped us get to our train/plane as opposed to just dropping us off at the station where we cannot read the signs. When we arrived at the next destination, our next guide was waiting right at the exit to take us on the next leg of our journey. Everything was simple, friendly, and wonderful. They answered all kinds of questions about what we were seeing and their culture so that we had an enjoyable and informative vacation. I would highly recommend Wendy Lee.

Travel China Guide organized our individual 16-day trip to China on the route Beijing - Shanghai - Luoyang - Shaolin - Xi'an - Chongqing - Zhangjiajie - Guilin - Yangshuo - Hong Kong. We were 4 women and relied entirely on Emily Xin's professional experience to draw up the itinerary, purchase train tickets between the cities, tours and book hotels. Emily was always available and answered all our questions extremely quickly and accurately, gave very accurate instructions and information. The hotels were wonderful (4 stars) with nice breakfasts, suitable for Europeans; the cars were new, comfortable and clean, water was provided, and the drivers were smiling and polite.
