Day 1 Arrival in Entebbe, Airport pick-up
Welcome to Uganda! The driver guide will pick you up at Entebbe International Airport, and then you will be transferred to the hotel in Kampala with a 40-50 min drive over 40 km. After checking in the hotel, the remainder of the day is on your own to have a good rest for upcoming gorilla tours in Uganda.

Meals: Dinner
Day 2 Private transfer to Bwindi National Park (455km, 8hs driving)
After breakfast, we will drive around 8 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi has the most diverse tree species and ferns in East Africa, so it was listed as one of Africa's 29 forest reserves for vegetation diversity. "Impenetrable" refers to a dense coverage of herbs and shrubs that grow on the bottom of the valley. Meanwhile, as home to more than a third of the world's mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park has been designated as an animal sanctuary to protect them.

From Kampala to the park, we will pass Kabale-Kisoro in south-western Uganda. This highway is one of Uganda's most beautiful scenic routes, connecting the border of Rwanda and Congo. We will also see the most beautiful region of the whole country with the beautiful terraces and hills, hailed as the "Switzerland in Africa". Also, you will admire the vast countryside, bamboo forests, and the fascinating views from Virunga Mount.

Day 3 Gorilla trekking experience at Bwindi, drive to Queen Elizabeth NP
Today's plan is to trace mountain gorillas in Bwindi National Park. Remember to prepare a raincoat, rain boots, a fully charged camera and extra batteries for taking pictures and bottled drinking water in advance. The UWA staff will give you a brief introduction of what to do and not on this hiking tour. We recommend that you get a full physical checkup before the trekking, as mountain gorillas are highly sensitive to human diseases and also to avoid introducing germs into the reserve.

There are 5 species of primates, 113 types of mammal, 200 kinds of butterflies and 300 bird species in the Bwindi National Park. Also, there are 9 gorilla groups, each of which allows up to 8 visitors to track their movements at a time. The tour guide will show you the traces of gorillas, including their feces and chewed bamboo roots. The entire gorilla trail tracking will last about 2-7 hours. After that, we are going to Ishasha Sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which will take around 2 hours with 70 kilometers (43 miles). If you're lucky, you might see the lions who can climb trees.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 Chimping tracking, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe airport see-off
Today, our trip will come to an end. After having breakfast, we will begin to track chimpanzees, as well as other primates and birds in Kalinzu Forest Reserve. After that, it will take about 6 hours to return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for departure by car. On our way back, we'll stop at the Equator so you can buy some local souvenirs. Hope you can enjoy the trip!
