Jeff SExcellent 2 day Private TourWe had the pleasure of having Colin and a driver for 2 full days of private touring in Beijing over the busy May Day holiday. He was not only knowledgeable about all the sites we saw but also knew all the tricks to get us to and from the sites with our driver during what was a major holiday. We could have never done these sites on our own and his narration added major color to what we were experiencing. We were greeted and picked up at our hotel and treated so amazingly throughout the day by our wonderful guide, Rocky. He was so knowledgeable, kind, funny and patient. She has a great deal of historical knowledge on each site that we visited and answered all the questions we had. We learned a lot about Chinese history and the cultural aspects. FrequentFlier727885Tour one day BeijingWe took the tour of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall with our guide Helen. We were apprehensive about the time and organization. However, our guide Helen provided a great tour. Everything was well organized, with good historical explanations, we had enough time to see the tourist attractions, take photos, eat and even do some shopping. Helen was a great professional, punctual and kind. We recommend it!

The whole trip was well planned and we had two experienced and wonderful tour guides, with Linda in Beijing followed by Roger in Xian. Besides the many stories on the history of china, they were very helpful and patient throughout the whole journey. We all had a memorable time and highly recommend going through them again

She guided us around the Terracotta Army and other sites across the city. Her English was excellent, and her knowledge of the sites really brought the history to life. Celine also recommended some fantastic local restaurants and took us to some lovely spots for lunch—we felt like we got a true taste of the city. ChmisaBest guide and very recommended visit! A must do when in Xi’anTracy was the perfect guide! Her knowldege about Xi’an and its history combined with her fluent accent made the best experience. She gave us precious information about the Terracotta Army, the big pagoda and the city wall. She also allowed us to have enough time to appreciate each stop. Highly recommend to take this tour and understand more the history of this very ancient city. My friend and I were very satisfied.

From the time we stepped off the plane, visited the Terracotta Army Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, the Muslim Quarter, and the Hanyangling (Tomb of Emperor Jingdi) — Carol was a wealth of information. Learned a lot from her. She even gave us tips for how to deal with the enormous crowds at the Terracotta Army Museum. We also got to see the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show one evening. One of the guys in our group had a birthday. MoreHad the BEST time with our guide, Carol in Xi’an. From the time we stepped off the plane, visited the Terracotta Army Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall, the Muslim Quarter, and the Hanyangling (Tomb of Emperor Jingdi) — Carol was a wealth of information. One of the guys in our group had a birthday. She arranged for the performers in full costume to present him with a cake and sing to him! We were a group of 16, plus a 9-month-old. We absolutely loved Carol. When it was time to move on to Beijing, she took us to the high speed railway station, got our tickets and walked us through security and to the correct gate we needed to board. Freddy YTravel China Guide private tour of ShanghaiThe Shanghai portion of our Travel China Guide tour was fast paced and guided by Sophie Lee who was outstanding. Sophie’s knowledge and experience of Shanghai were excellent. She took great care of the two of us which allowed use to maximize our time. As our private guide, Sophie was a strong advocate for us whatever and wherever we went. Her English was very good and always explained our itinerary in detail. Her driver and the van were also very good.
TravelGnomesDay trip to Zhujiajiao Water TownWe took a day tour from Shanghai to Zhujiajiao with Sasa as our tour guide. She was amazing and very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Shanghai and its surroundings.
The Water Town is touristy and quite crowded with tourists groups and school groups. There is a central canal that you walk along with boat rides as an option. We visited two private gardens - lovely Chinese architecture and landscaping and blissful to escape the tourist crowds. They are smaller than Yu Gardens in Shanghai but I enjoyed them much more due to the peace and tranquility.
The shops are all touristy but interesting to see the various wares. Overall I felt it was a touristy visit. Sasa was so helpful and went in her own time to get Bund cruise tickets for us as we had trouble booking online.
We found all our various tour guides very helpful and flexible. I highly recommend using this travel company for whichever tour you decide upon. Less- Dawid SShort stay in ShanghaiHad the pleasure of enjoying a short stay in Shanghai with our guide Sophie. She spoke excellent English and made sure every group member was taken care of, making sure we had opportunities for things such as bathroom breaks and explaining how to get around Shanghai. I also appreciated her perspective on how it is living in Shanghai today as a young professional.

AxeletsharonAwesome Cruise with great guideThe weather was excellent and we add an exceptional and beautiful cruise on the river. Our guide (Joanne) and driver were also very good, we did some extra activities after the boat such as cycling. The cruise is a must do when you visit China, the scenery are wonderful, the food on board is not great (take snacks) and drinks very expensive. This is a unique visit that worth the trip to Guilin.

She was extremely knowledgeable and took great care of us. Samantha made sure we maximize our time with all the information and experience of the area which included a visit to an elderly village couple. It was obvious that Samantha cared about this couple and we enjoyed sharing our time with them. The driver was very good as well.- OSCARFC FAmazing. To come back again with Travel China-Guide.We spent eight days with Tom Wu. The trip was perfect. Both the organization and the guide, Tom, along with the organizers Amy and Seline, provided us with all the information we needed to learn about Guanxy's history, its culture, its people, and its current way of life. - sofia_gantGreat experience!We had a lovely experience with our guide Qiuyan Li and our driver. Our guide was well experienced and she gave us lots of insights not only with respect to the beautiful landscapes, but also about the chinese culture and about their costumes.
We spent another day with our guide visiting also the rice terraces and it was definitely worth it!!

She took us to see the rice fields on the first day and on a cruise along the Li River on the second day. On both occasions, she gave us lots of information about the history and interesting facts of the sites, as well as very useful tips on less-crowded spots to enjoy the scenery and grab a meal!
Qiuyan Li and our driver were really kind to us — it felt like taking a tour with family.

We customised our tour to only visit the pandas and a tour of Jinli street as our time in Chengdu was limited. We had the most amazing travel guide Bella, she was very friendly and also extremely helpful . The tour was very informative and we learnt a lot from her.
