Okavango Delta Exploration

The driver guide will pick you up at the hotel in Maun in the morning, then start the trip to Okavango Delta. The Okawango Delta is located in northern Botswana, which is the last unspoiled area of Africa. The wilderness covers an area of about 15,000 square kilometers. Upon arrival, we will take a Mokoro canoe to sail through the quiet waterways of Okawango, during which you will have a great chance to run into hippos and crocodiles, as well as some of the birds that live there. Then we will go ashore to enjoy the safari walk, looking for animals like elephants, hippos, giraffes, and zebras. After returning to the camp, you can enjoy the big dinner prepared by the chef.

After enjoying breakfast in the morning, a local guide will escort you to start today's safari walk in Okawango Delta. Most of these guides live on the marginal area of the Delta, so they know the area well and they are good at finding the animals with their amazing eyesight and keen observation ability. Follow the guide closely and you will have the chance to see elephants, hippos, zebras and so on. After that you can relax and enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon after avoiding the hottest time of the day in the camp, we will explore the Delta's other waterways and islands by taking Mokoro. At the end of the day, return to the camp and have a cooked campfire dinner after taking shower.

After having breakfast, follow the safari guide to enjoy your last morning safari walk or mokoro excursion in Okavango Delta. After that, return to camp and pack your luggage. Then we will drive north to the next stop Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi Game Reserve is located in the east-central of Okavango Delta, a 3,900-square-kilometer protected area where animals live freely and migrate according to the seasons. Moremi also has a rich variety of landscapes, such as the floodplains, waterways, lagoons, pans, grasslands. We will arrive at the camp in the afternoon and start our first safari drive at Moremi Game Reserve after a short break, during which you can feast your eyes on the beauty of the nature.

On the fourth day, we will spend the whole day game driving in Moremi Game Reserve. You can search all kinds of wild animals, such as wild dogs, lions and the elusive leopard.

After breakfast, we will leave Moremi in the form of game drive. According to your request, the driver guide can send you either to your residence in Maun or to the airport. May you have had a great time during the vacation!
