When I was in Tsim Sha Tsui HK, I went to the bay area and I thought no city has such night lights as HK. I was wrong! Shanghai have the most beautiful night lights than in HK. Weather facing the famous Oriental Pearl Tower or back ...I'll post picture when I get back to Phils.
When I was in Cheng Huang Miao, they say to taste the Xiao Long Bao(little steamed dumpling) People are falling in line to buy that. I was in the line for 45 mins before I can order... grabe and engorge.
If you want to go food tripping, go to Yun Nan Road, the whole streets have the best and cheap Shanghai food... burp... hehe
Cheap clothes you have to go to Qi Pu Road, it's like Greenhills in Manila.. In here you won't find the same clothes in every store like Greenhills...Very cheap clothes.... I bought a lot of clothes and a pair of cute fur boots... hahaha... I have to buy a big black plastic (the same one that we used to put in the trashcan)
You also have to learn the trick of buying in Qi Pu Lu Malls. First ask for the price. Pretend that you are not interested. Then when the seller give you the price, walk away and say that you'll look around first. Then they will lower the price... Don't think the first time they lower the price ok ,no.. coz the first price they give you is usually twice the original selling price.. for example, the clothes is 20RMB, they will say 45RMB, when you walk away, they will yell 35 RMB... then when you don't turn back, then they will yell 30RMB. Then pretend to look at it and say 20RMB..... the rest is up to you now I brought 800RMB there and I bought a lot of stuff and I still have 300RMB with me left....
Taxi is cheaper than in HK. 11RMB yun starting price....
Grabe could have stayed here longer.... I'm going to Oriental Pearl, Jin Mao Tower and Xin Dian Di tonight....
bye for now......
