Day 1 Guatemala City arrival, Airport pick-up, Transfer to Antigua
Welcome to Guatemala! The driver will be waiting for you at the airport and then transfer you to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala, taking about 50 minutes by car.

Day 2 Explore the attractive Antigua city
After breakfast, the driver and the guide will pick you up to visit the small town of Antigua. This town was the capital of the Spanish Guatemala colony, which contains most of the isthmus of Central America today, and a large number of Baroque buildings have been preserved here. In 1979, the city was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our guide will lead you to visit the important sights here, stroll through the cobblestone streets and visit the beautiful churches, monasteries and cultural sights. Afternoon we are going to visit San Antonio Aguascalientes, another town in Guatemala, where you will find various local handicrafts. After the tour, we'll drive back to the hotel in Antigua.

Day 3 Enjoy coffee plantation trip
Today we are going to visit the oldest coffee plantation in Guatemala. During the trip, you will know about the making process of coffee. Our guide will also explain how to make the best coffee in the world. After the visit, transfer you back to the hotel for rest.

Day 4 Visit Iximche archaeological site, Enjoy Chichicastenango Market trip, Transfer to Panajachel
Today we will visit Iximche, an archaeological site called "the Land of Corn". It takes 1h10min to drive there. As Guatemala's first capital and last Mayan city, Iximche has many historical sites from the pre-Columbian period, including fascinating buildings and venues where the Mayans played. In addition, many Mayan ceremonies were held here. After visiting, drive for 1h40min to Chichicastenango's market. This market with a history of more than 100 years is the largest market in Central America and opens every Thursday and Sunday. Then visit the historic and mysterious Church of Santo Tomas, where the Mayan Bible was found. After the visit, we will drive to Panajachel, the gateway to Lake Atitlan. The journey will take 1h15min by car. We will stay in hotel in Panajachel tonight.

Day 5 Explore San Juan La Laguna & Santiago de Atitlan along Lake Atitlan
On the 5th day, we are going to visit one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, Lake Atitlan. We'll take the boat to cross the Lake Atitlan to the village of San Juan La Laguna to visit textile cooperative and admire the hand-knitting articles and fabrics made with natural dyeing techniques, as well as woven mats made from lake reeds. Then go to the village of Santiago, where the villagers still maintain the traditional lifestyle of Tz'utuhil Maya. On the main street of the village, there are oil painting galleries of which the paintings depict the busy market scene and the life of the highlands. After the visit, take the boat back to Panajachel. On arrival, go to a local restaurant for lunch at your own cost. Afterwards, we will drive back to the hotel in Guatemala City, taking 2h30min.

Day 6 Fly to Flores, Visit Tikal archaeological site
Today you need to get up early and the driver will send you to the airport for flight to Flores. After one hour's fly, the local guide and the driver will pick you up and transfer you to Tikal archaeological site, taking about 1 hour and 5 minutes. Tikal, the second biggest city of Maya World, is the first historical site in Guatemala that was listed in the World Heritage List by UNESCO. Upon arrival, the guide will show you the layout of Temples I "El Gran Jaguar" and the Temple II "Los Mascarones" which are the most crucial historical remains in the site. Next visit the Lost World, the biggest ritualistic building in the site. After the visit, transfer you to the hotel in Flores, taking about 1h10min.

Day 7 Visit Yaxha archaeological site
Today we'll drive to Yaxha, the previous ceremonial center and city of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization, taking 1h20min. There, the guide will escort you to visit Yaxha archaeological site where there is the Stelae Plaza, the only twin pyramids besides the one in Tikal. After the visit, the guide and the driver will transfer you to the airport in Flores for you to take the flight back to Guatemala City. Upon arrival, our local driver will transfer you to the hotel in Guatemala City.

Day 8 Guatemala City departure, Airport see-off
This is the last day of your best Guatemala tours. The driver will transfer you to Guatemala City International Airport according to your flight schedule. Wish you a pleasant trip.
