Location: Located in Caojiabao, Gaozhai Xiang, Huzhu County, about 30 kilometers (about 18 miles) away from downtown Xining City

Brief intro
Built in 1991, Xining Caojiabao Airport is a very important transitional center in Qinghai Province as well as in the Northwest of China. The runway of this airport is about 3,000 meters (about 1.9 miles) and 60 meters (about 66 yards) wide. TU-154, MD-82, B-737 and other big-sized and middle-sized airplanes can be accepted here. Untill now, airlines traveling to Beijing, Guangzhou, Xian, Shanghai, Wuhan, Lanzhou, etc. have been opened.
