Airport Code: YIW

Location: Yiwu Airport lies 5.5 kilometers (3.4 miles) northwest of Yiwu City and 51 kilometers (31.7 miles) from the urban area of Jinhua City.

Brief Intro: As the largest airport in middle-western Zhejiang Province, Yiwu airport can handle large planes like the MD-82, B-737, and A-320. Its apron can hold 3 large planes and 2 small planes. The Domestic Waiting Hall accommodates 500 passengers.

Yiwu Airport is now under expansion, and the project is predicted to be finished in 2008. A new Terminal Building with an area of 18000 square meters (21527.8 square yards), able to house 1000 persons during the peak hour, will be constructed under this project. The apron will be enlarged to include parking for 6 planes. Flights connecting Yiwu and 15 other cities like Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Xian are available in the airport.
