You can take a bus to get off Chun Xiu Lu (Chunxiu Road), Tayuancun or Xingfu San Cun bus stop and then walk to Liberia Embassy.

1. In Monrovia the capital of Liberia, the major vehicles are taxis and minibuses. The urban traffic is quite crowded. Saloon cars are rented at a charge of around 60 to 80 dollars per day; jeeps are rented at a charge of about 80 to 100 dollars; minibus 150 to 200 dollars.
2. Malaria, cholera and hepatitis are frequent diseases in Liberia. Many people die from malaria. The major hospitals in Monrovia include JFK Medical Center, Redemption Hospital and St. Catholic Hospital.
3. Having suffered many years' civil war, Liberia is very poor now. Prices and the rate of unemployment are very high. The public security is not good. Theft and robbery often happen. So, you should take good care of your personal belongs.
4. Liberia Time is the same as London Time, eight hours later than Beijing Time.
5. English is widely spoken in Liberia.
6. The major electricity voltage there is 220V.
On February 17th, 1977, Liberia established diplomatic relations with China. On October 9th, 1989, it declared restoring relations with Taiwan. Next day, Chinese Government ceased relations with Liberia. In 1993, the two countries restored relations. However, in 1997, Liberia Government said they admitted ‘two Chinas'. Chinese Government broke off relations with Liberia again. Not until 2003 had the relations between China and Liberia been recovered.
