- Located in Nangao Village in Danzhai County, Guizhou Province, Da Boji Miao Village gets the name from its unique dustpan shape. The village is the sweet home to almost 100 Miao families. In this fertile land, they live a peaceful and contented life, free from the noises of modern civilization. In the village, the typical buildings are the rows of the stilt houses (Diao Jiao Lou), the folk residences built on mountains or pebble slabs. On usual days, the village remains quite calm, but on grand festivals or when guests come, it will immediately become astir.
