The 15th City Wall International Marathon is held on November 7, 2009. 1863 athletes from 43 countries, 14 provinces of China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan attend this sports event. The 5-kilometer route starts from 200 meters to the east of the gate tower of South Gate, via Wenchang Gate – Heping Gate – Jianguo Gate – East Gate, returns along the same route from 150 meters to the south of East Gate to the starting point.
