- The City Wall of Pingyao is one of the well-preserved city walls in China. In 1997, Pingyao City Wall along with Pingyao Ancient Town was listed as one of the World Cultural Heritage. It was originally built in the West Zhou Dynasty (11th century BC - 771 BC), but the current one was the remains of the City Wall rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). I want to take photographs at the same spot as image 0077888 (Wall of Pingyao with path and trees). Which side of the wall was this photo taken? Also, where was image 0077903 taken? The tower seems very interesting and photogenic! Where are other great spots to take photos of this wall? What is a fair price to pay for a ricksaw ride on the top of the wall so we can see all of it faster than walking? thank you!
