The Graveyard of Tibetan King is located on the Mure Mountain of Shannan Region, covering an area of over 10,000 square meters. It is the largest imperial necropolis in Tibet, buried the eleven Tibetan Kings (namely Tsampo) from the 7th century to the 9th century with their consorts and ministers. It is said that Princess Wencheng, wife of Songtsen Gampo was also buried here, thousands of miles away from her home, Xian.
