Kuqa County Photos
Kuqa, called Qiuci in ancient times, was one of the 36 states in Western Region. It was also an important town along the ancient Silk Road in the Han Dynasty (206BC - 220AD). Kuqa is famous for Qiuci music and dance, which had once enchanted the entire country in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).
