Relationship between Gabon and China:
Gabon established diplomatic relations with China in 1974. In recent years, the economic and trade cooperation is constantly growing between the two countries. By 2004, the volume of trade had reached 0.44 billion dollars.

About Dual Nationality:
Gabon disavows dual nationality. The Chinese people in Gabon cannot apply for Gabonese nationality unless they have stayed in Gabon for at least ten years. Additionally, the sons or daughters, whose parents have already joined Gabonese nationality, cannot apply for Gabonese nationality until 18 years old.
