The Embassy of Ghana neighbors on Canadian, Portuguese and many other countries' embassies. If you are going to the Embassy of Ghana in Beijing, you may take a bus to get off at Xing Fu San Cun. The buses via Xing Fu San Cun are No. 110, 117, 120, 206, 208, 403, 416, 635, 823, 909, etc.
The People's Republic of China established diplomatic relations with Ghana on July 5th, 1960. In October, 1966, because of a governmental coup in Ghana, Ghana Government broke off the diplomatic relations with China unilaterally. In 1972, the two countries restored diplomatic communication.
After that, the relations between China and Ghana are all right. The two countries developed the cooperation of economy, culture, education and military. By September, 2006, Chinese Government had 231 investment projects in Ghana. Since 1960, China has accepted the students from Ghana. By the end of 2006, China had trained over 400 persons with the abilities relating to diplomacy, economy & trade, agriculture, medical treatment, education, fishery, audit, communication, energy sources, customs, etc.
The Republic of Ghana admits dual nationality. The Law of Ghana Nationality regulates that the persons with Ghana blood can apply for Ghana passport and the foreign residents' children who were born in Ghana can apply for Ghana nationality.
