 Bilateral Relationship between Guinea-Bissau and China:
The People's Republic of China set up diplomatic relations with Guinea-Bissau on March 15th, 1974. On May 26th, 1990, Guinea-Bissau established relations with Taiwan. On May 31st of the same year, Chinese Government declared China ceased relations with Guinea-Bissau. On April 23rd, 1998, China restored the relations with Guinea-Bissau. By now, China has helped Guinea-Bissau finish the projects of sports stadium, hospital, and technique extension station and the like. By 2007, the bilateral trade volume between the two nations is 7.45 million dollars. China mainly exports grist, mechanical and electrical products, textiles to Guinea-Bissau and imports cashew nuts.
