The Iron Pagoda is located in northeast of Kaifeng in Henan Province. The thirteen-storey, octagonal pagoda is over 55 meters (180.4 feet) high. It is famous not for its religious importance but for the pagoda itself. This attractive pagoda is constructed entirely of timber with tousands of Buddha figures carved all over it.
