- The beautiful mosque is near the Drum Tower in Haujuexiang. It is surrounded by the old houses and narrow lanes of the Muslim district. The mosque occ upies a rectangle which measures 250 meters by 47 meters and is divided into four courtyards. It is really great to see such a grand mosque in Xian city. It is centuries old building but thanks to the govt. of China and the local administration and the people( both Muslims and non Muslims ) for preserving the beauty of the mosque and maintaining the building structure intact.
I think that all credit goes to the broadminded nature of the chinese people that they give due respect to all places of worship of every religion and faith .
