The Kong Family Mansion, situated in the east of the Temple of Confucius, is the residence of Confucius' descendants for more than 70 generations. Now the mansion is on a large scale. It consists of 480 rooms, nine courtyards and three compounds in the middle, the east and the west. It houses the famous archives, priceless manuscripts, ancient furniture and some family relics.
