Dzong Fortress Pictures

Before the fierce battle took place in Dzong Fortress in 1904, this building at a sea level of over 4,000 meters was the political center of the whole Gyangtze.

On the way from Lhasa to Shigatse, the white Dzong Fortress is erect at the top of the Dzong Hill. Actually, this building is inferior to any other noted monastery in Tibet, but it has recorded a moving and tragic history of the brave Tibetan people. In the early part of the last century, the local people defended their home against the foreign invaders bravely from the fortress. Attraction Intro: Dzong Fortress

Hi everyone!
I am now in Hong Kong and have been trying to find a travel agency that can help me clarify what is necessary to visit Tibet... but I am finding it very difficult! I haven't had any return from any agency regarding this kind of trips to that holy place in the next 8 weeks.
Any suggestions? Thanks :-)
Julianna

It is the rainy season of Ngari, and the road condition is not good and the moggy weather will be a problem for admiring the scene. So, suggest you avoide traveling Agari. If you come across the rain, the journey will be really tough.

Both ok. The four months are comparatively the better seasons to visit Lhasa and other places around. Sep-Oct may has more beautiful scenery. Although in summer, you should take warm clothes. If you have other plans, for example, you can visit Qinghai in August and then turn to TIbet in September. Up to your schedule.
