The garden is the site of 1999 Kunming World Horti-Expo. It was built on the mountain with a very decent layout. It's situated in northeast suburb of Kunming, about four kilometers from Kunming Downtown. It reproduced the gardening masterpieces of the major cities in Yunnan and also other Chinese cities. Besides that, you can find another 95 countries' gardening products there.
