Sayram Lake, the largest alpine lake as well as the highest (2070 meter) lake in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, means "blessing" in the Kazakh language. Having held the Sayram Lake Cycling Race successfully in both 2007 and 2008, the entrepreneurs aim at upgrading the amateurish Race to a professional Race like the Qinghai Lake International Cycling Race. Hereunder, we would like to show you the two sections and the route of the race. You may follow it just like you were at the Race. Also, different landforms and picturesque view will accompany you all way along.

First Section of 92KM:
On the first day, the starting point on the first section is the north gate of the "Jing River Ecosystem Park" which has an altitude of 299 meters. The route is the north gate of  "Jing River Ecosystem Park" - Corps No. 82 (235M-high) -Corps No. 89 (269M-high) - Corps No. 86 - Jianguo Road in Bole City - Tuanjie Road in Bole City - Qingdeli Street in Bole City - the south of Center Street Park(509m-high). Generally speaking, the road condition is good in all. The roads are flat with many cross ways. In the passed race, there was a 5KM-long "Honorary Ride".

Second Section of 110KM:
The starting point of the second section on the second day is 480M-high Bozhou Comprehensive Gymnasium. Ride 110KM and you will get to the destination of the north gate of the Sayram Lake. The route is Bozhou Comprehensive Gymnasium - Xiaoyingpan Intersection (639M-high) -  Areletuohai(709M-high) - Taxiu Village(774M-high) - Livestock Breeding Station(1019M-high) - Anxiang Interjection (1160M-high) - Forestry Checkpoint of Wenquan County (1577M-high) –north gate of the Sayram Lake(2124M-high). You'd better bring enough water with you. Generally speaking, the roads are flat with a complex of mountain roads, steep gradients and sharp twists, which has made the downgrades perilous. Also, make sure you get well-prepared as the relief and altitude greatly changes along the way. In the passed race, there was a 5KM-long "Honorary Ride" in Bole City. Set up the camp aside the Sayram Lake and stay overnight.

Third Section of 66KM:
You will finish the third section in the morning of the third day, cycling about half circle of the Lake from 2093M-high East Gate of the Lake to reach the 2093M-high South Gate. Roads around the Lake are flat with no obviously change on the relief or the altitude. In the real race, the fourth section is arranged on the afternoon. Certainly, you are not taking the race with fixed route. When you finish the cycling, you may leisurely take your rest afternoon hiking or picturing the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains. Stay overnight at the camp.

Fourth Section of 40KM:
Get up early and ride to the Forestry Checkpoint of Wenquan County (1577M-high). This is the starting point of the fourth section. The route is Forestry Checkpoint of Wenquan County (1577M-high) - Anxiang Interjection (1160M-high) – Anxiang County (1146M-high) - The Party and The Goverment Administration Building (1400M-high). Roads of this section are flat with with changes on the relief or the altitude. Be careful of the long steep gradients and many sharp twists.
