Pls let me know the teksi charges from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport to Wanjing Hotel in Yangshuo? When I reach Airport, where shall I travel first, Yangshuo or Guilin ?

Oct. 23,2009 01:07
Mr.Shan replied:

When you arrive at Guilin Airport, please go to 2F where you could hire a cab to Yangshuo with a fare of about 300RMB. May be less during low travel season.

Actually, you could visit Guilin firstly. The airport shuttle bus could take to downtown area in 30 minutes with a fare of only 20RMB. Then, you could take a coach at Guilin Bus Terminus to Yangshuo, which is only 13RMB and takes you 1.5hours to get to Yangshuo.

Hi does anyone know if the Sheraton provides a shuttle from the airport and the cost. I do not want to haggle about taxis after a transatlantic flight....or should I not worry about haggling and airport exit fees etc.

Oct. 18,2009 22:21
Mr.Jamie replied:

The hotel do not have shuttle bus service. You can take airport bus to the city center and then take a taxi to the hotel or just take a taxi from the airport directly. Ask metering and the taxi fare is about 80-100RMB from the airport to the hotel.

Will spend 6 days in Guilin but not knowing anything about the place. How far is Guilin to Yangshuo, Longsheng and Hezhou. Do I need to stay there or just go back to Guilin? Where would be a good location to stay in Guilin and Yangshuo? How's the weather in November?

Oct. 17,2009 02:46
Mr.Leo replied:

At Guilin Bus Terminal, you could take coaches respectively to Yangshuo (1.5hours) and Longsheng (2 hours). It is suggested that you use Guilin as transfer station since the bus between Yangshuo and Longsheng is not very conevenient. To Hezhou from Guilin, it takes you about 3~4 hours.

Nov is already a little cold in Guilin. You'd better wear long-sleeves shirts, or a thin jacket to Yangshuo and Longsheng.

Thank you Mr Shan

As you mentioned

"So, you could walk to the Guilin Coach Terminal which is just 200 meters away from the railway station. Here, the buses depart to Yangshuo directly from early morning to late afternoon every 15 minutes. The bus fare is 15RMB/person."

Would like to know the bus from Guilin Coach Terminal to Yangshou for 15RMB/person is an express bus or do you the name of the bus company or any Bus Number to take? Do you know how long time to take an express bus to Yangshou?

We will spent a night in Guilin downtown hotel before departure on Saturday. Our flight is at 11.10 morning. Could we take a AIRPORT shutter bus from Guilin railway station to airport as early as 8.00 or 8.30 morning depending on the duration of tje journey of shutter bus. I understand that taxi will take around 45 minutes from airport to Guilin downtown. How much time need to travel to airport from Guilin Railway station by airport shutter bus? How regular shutter bus services from railway station to airport?

Thank you.

Jul. 25,2009 20:46
Mr.Shan replied:

To Mrs. agnes
Yes, the bus (ticket 15rmb at the coach terminal)is direct and express bus. The bus will take a bit more than one hour from Guilin to Yangshuo.
The first airport bus begins at 6:00am in the morning, but it has no stop at the railway station from the downtown area the airport, as I know. So, you should get to CAAC building, the terminal of airport bus route to catch the bus. It will take you 40 minutes or so to the airport. If there is a flight, there is a bus. It is accordant with the arrival of flights.

Hi,
Is it true that after 9:30PM the shuttle buswill not run at a fixed schedule, e.g. the driver will wait for a full bus before leaving?
If so, is there taxi available to take passengers to downtown? How much is the average cost?

Thanks!

Sep. 17,2009 21:38
Mr.Frankie replied:

Once there is a flight arrival, there will be shuttle buses departing to downtown area. And, I think the bus will be full very quickly. If you take a taxi, the fare is about 80~100RMB/cab.

1) Is there any transport from the airport to XingAn directly?

2) If I'm to take the airport shuttle bus and alight at Guilin Railway Station to go over to Guilin Bus Terminal to take a bus from the terminal to XingAn, is it easy to locate the Bus Terminal from the Railway Station?

3) After I get to XingAn (is it the last stop of the bus journey?), any idea where and what bus do I take to get to LingQu (Ling Canal)?

4) Any accomodation recommendation at XingAn?

Thanks!

Hi

I will be reaching Guilin airport around 10PM in the night. I would like to store luggage in the airport, do they have something like that and if they have do you know how much they charge (I couldn't call airpot as I don't know chinese).

Also, will the shuttle to city center be available at that time and I am staying in Sheraton, will I be able to get taxi from city center if I take shuttle from airport?

Thanks

Sep. 17,2009 21:36
Mr.Frankie replied:

Yes, the airport supplies baggage left. But not very sure about the price. The airport shuttle bus is in operation until to the last flight arrival, so you could use it to the downtown area and then hire a taxi to Sheraton. The taxi is also available round the clock.
