Local Customs
Nanchang people prefer teahouse. Reputedly, Nanchang's teahouse has thousand years history. Every morning from 08:00 to 12:00 and afternoon from 15:00 until 22:00 at night, they would like to gather in those teahouses to meet friends or talk about things. Nanchang people also like fishing at any season. Fishers are easy to be found in rive bank and lakeside. Fishing competitions are usually held there.

During these days, Nanchang is very hot. The summer here is always very hot. Just go out in the early afternoon. It’s the hottest moment during a day. I sweat all the time. But don’t imagine how comfortable the winter is, as the winter of Nanchang is cold and long. So, summer and winter are not good seasons for tourists who want to come to Nanchang. As a local, I suggest you come here in spring or autumn.
