Wu River is the upstream branch of Yangtze River, which is also called Qianjiang. Wu River rises in the northern area of Guizhou and the eastern mountain area of Sichuan. The overall length of the river is 1050 kilometers, and the drainage area is 88,000 square kilometers. The upstream flows through the limestone area while the middle reaches going through the Dalou Mountain and the Wuling Mountain.
