Suzhou is famous for its good quality silk products. Suzhou Silk Museum visit could bring you some detailed knowledge about silk. The entrance fee is only 7 yuan. It''s quite a good museum because everything is clearly marked in Chinese and English, which makes your tour more enjoyable and easier. It starts with the legendary inventor of silk, Leizu who was the concubine of the equally lengendary Emperor Huang Di. There were silk making machines with demonstrators ready to show you how they were used. The most interesting and also at the same time quite repulsive part of it all is the last room where you can see literally hundreds of silkworms munching away on mulberry leaves whilst spinning cocoons!

It is amazing to visit Suzhou, expecially to those who like gardens and architecture. For example, the Garden of the Master of the Nets, the Lingering Garden, the Lion Grove and the Humble Administrator's Garden. Visiting like this order, then you can feel the scenery is better and better. Nothing special in the Garden of the Master of the Nets. Lingering Garden is fine. You can feel quiet in the noise as if you were not in the prosperous city. Rockwork is the hightlight in the Lion Grove. It is interesting especially for the kids. The architecture in the Humble Administrator's Garden is wonderful. It looks like a big garden. There is garden in the house, house in the garden. It is absolutely worth to pay a visit there.
