- The Badaling Great Wall, located in Yanqing County, Beijing, is one part of Chinese ancient military fortification system and a very important gateway of the Ming (1368-1644) Great Wall. This section of the Great Wall is very steep and makes people elevated. From of old, Badaling is the main artery to go to Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and Zhangjiakou.
