Day 1 Arrival in Siem Reap
Our friendly guide and driver will pick you up at Siem Reap Airport and then escort you to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, we will set out for a brief city tour by tuk tuk. On route, we will stop at the bustling Old City Market to soak in the local life and surroundings. When we are finished, the guide will transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 2 Siem Reap

We will start today's private Siem Reap tour early in the morning for a glamorous sunrise over the Angkor Wat. The silhouette of magnificent temples and stupas along with their dazzling reflections upon the encircling waters create a beautiful photograph. Afterwards, the guide will lead you to explore the Angkor Thom, the last capital city of the Khmer Empire, founded in the 9th century. Upon entering the southern gate, we will visit the Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King in succession.

Then after exiting from the northern gate, we will visit the Preah Khan Temple (Temple of Sacred Sword) before proceeding to the Ta Prohm Temple - the shooting location of the movie Tomb Raider.

In the evening, you will enjoy the Apsara Dinner Show at a fancy restaurant.

Day 3 Siem Reap
Rolous Group including the temples Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong. Beng Mealea. (B+L)
After breakfast, you will be taken via a private ride to the Rolous Group, which are recognized the beginning of the classic period of Khmer art and famous for the temple remains belonging to Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong.

On the way back to Siem Reap, we will get off to appreciate Beng Mealea, the ruins of a Hindu temple hidden in a primitive forest.

After checking out of the hotel, we will continue this Cambodia tour itinerary to Phnom Penh by a comfortable ride. En route, we will alight at a rural market to experience local life.

After checking into a hotel in Phnom Penh, you will be accompanied to visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, where you will discover the fierce massacre of Khmer rouge during 1975 - 1979. Later, we will enjoy some relaxing time hanging out at the Russian Market.

Day 5 Phnom Penh - Chau Doc
Royal Palace, Continue by river to Chau Doc(around 5 hours), check in at hotel, free exploration. (B+L)
We will check out of the hotel in the morning and then head for the Royal Palace, and explore its splendid halls and stupas with pointed golden roofs and white walls. Then we will take a boat ride on the Mekong River. The Cambodia tour ends here as we cross the border to Vietnam and arrive at Chau Doc Town in 5 hours. After checking into a local hotel, the rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.

Day 6 Chau Doc - Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to Vinh Long, local market, boat of Mekong travel, rowboat to countryside, drive to Ho Chi Minh City. (B+L)

After breakfast, we will drive to Vinh Long. Our Vietnam tour from Cambodia will start with a visit to Vinhlong market, where you will discover all kinds of seafood and vegetables, and the local people selling and buying things. We will take a boat ride along the Mekong River and see the brick kilns and the local workshops. A rowing boat will then take you deeper into the countryside for a peaceful and enjoyable ride. We will also see the orchard and traditional house of the Ut Trinh family. It is also fun to cycle along the village paths and see the local farms and real life up close.

The cruise will go back to Vinh Long city. From there, we will take a private drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Our guide will help you check in the hotel.

Day 7 Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang - Hoi An
Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Post Office, Ben Thanh Market. Fly to Da Nang, airport pick-up and transfer to Hoi An. (B)
Accompanied by our guide, today you will pay a visit to the landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City, including Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office. All of these splendid buildings were built in the late 19th century, following the French architectural style. You will also be able to learn about local daily life by wandering around a busy indoor market called Ben Thanh.

You will then be escorted to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. The local guide will meet you at the airport and then take you to Hoi An.

Today's itinerary will start with a leisurely stroll around a local market in Hoi An Old Town. You will also learn the history of the town's development by visiting Hoi An Museum. A few historical buildings inside the town, such as Old Merchants' House, Assembly Hall, and Japanese Covered Bridge, are also worthy of your admiration.

Day 9 Hoi An - Hue

After checking out of the hotel in the morning, we will drive to Hue. On the way, we will stop at Hai Van Pass on the hilltop to enjoy the panoramic view, and relax on the unspoiled beach of Lang Co. When we arrive, we will check into a local hotel. Then we will start exploring the city including the Royal Citadel and the Imperial Purple Citadel, which are relics of royal buildings. We will continue the trip to the Thien Mu Pagoda, seated on the northern bank of the Perfume River, and the Mausoleum of King Tu Duc, which is adorned with exquisite pavilions, bridges and ponds.

Day 10 Hue - Hanoi
Fly to Hanoi and airport pick-up, Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. (B)
In the morning, you will take a private ride to the airport to catch a flight to Hanoi. Our Hanoi guide and driver will be waiting for you at the airport and will give you a comfortable ride to the hotel. When you have settled, we will set out to visit the French-style Opera House, and then stroll around the Old Quarter and experience the local cultural atmosphere. We will round off the day with the graceful Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple in the middle of the lake.

Day 11 Hanoi - Lao Cai

After breakfast, we will head for the Ba Dinh Square and visit the nearby Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda.Following, you will visit the Temple of Literature, a Chinese-style building constructed in the 17th century. After feeling the rich academic atmosphere, we will continue the trip to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the diverse ethnic cultures of the country. We will conclude the private Hanoi tour with a fabulous Water Puppet Show.

Our guide will escort you to the train station for your onward night train to Lao Cai.

Day 12 Lao Cai - Sapa

After arriving at Lao Cai Railway Station, you will meet our local guide at the exit. You will be accompanied around one of the local markets (Bac Ha Fair Market on Sun, Coc Ly on Tue, and Can Cau on Sat). Afterwards, the guide will transfer you to Sapa Town to check into a local hotel.

Day 13 Sapa Trekking
Trekking throughterraced rice fields to remote hill tribe villages. 3 trekking options to choose from: Easy trek (3 km), Medium trek (6km) and Long trek (12km). Drive back to Sapa in the late afternoon. (B+L)
Today we will set out for the trekking tour to the hill tribe villages. You can choose one route from the three options, according to your physical condition: Easy Trek (3km), Medium Trek (6km), and Long Trek (12km). While trekking, you can enjoy the wonderful views of endless terraced fields stretching out into the distance. You will also get to see the distinctive ethnic cultures of H'mong, Dzao and Dzay groups - another highlight of the day.

When we are finished, a comfortable ride will take you back to Sapa.

Day 14 Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Visit local market, tour over Tram Ton Pass to Heaven's Gate, Silver Waterfall. Drive back to Lao Cai, night train back to Hanoi. (B+L)
Our first sight this morning is visiting a local market, after which the guide will escort you to the Tram Ton Pass, also known as Heaven's Gate, standing at an an altitude of 1,900m (6,200ft). From there, you will have stunning panoramic views of the surrounding rolling mountains. The guide will also lead you to see the nearby Silver Waterfall.

When the sightseeing is over, we will drive back to Lao Cai Railway Station for a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 15 Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise
Railway station pick-up, drive to Halong Bay to board the Signature Cruise and stay one night on the cruise. Immerse yourself with amazing Halong scenery. (B+L+D)

The local guide will pick you up at Hanoi Railway Station and transfer you directly to Halong Pier to start the 1.5 days' Halong Bay Cruise. Halong Bay is a world heritage site recognized by UNESCO, featuring thousands of limestone hills and islets rising up from the sea.

In the afternoon, you will transfer to a rowboat and discover locals' daily life at Vung Vieng Village. We will return to the cruise ship and the rest of the day is free for you to view the picturesque scenery, or take part in recreational activities onboard.

Day 16 Halong Bay - Hanoi
Relax on board, disembark around noon and drive back to Hanoi. Free at leisure for rest time. (Brunch)
If you are interested, you might want to get up early to attend a Tai Chi class on the upper deck while enjoying the sunrise view. After a morning tea or coffee, you will visit the Thien Canh Son Cave, where stalactites of various shapes grow inside. Then you will return to the cruise to have a brunch.

You will arrive at Halong Pier at around noon. Our guide will transfer you to check into a hotel in Hanoi. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.
