Location: In the Laishan Town, Yantai City

Brief Intro: Covering an area of 18.53 hectares (45.79 acres), the Laishan Airport is 15 kilometers (about 9.32 miles) away from Yantai City. Its facilities and advanced system of communication, navigation, and command, allow the airport to provide quality service to passengers.

The Laishan Airport opened in October of 1984. At present, its runway is used by Boeing 767-300 passenger aircrafts. Over 20 domestic air routes are open, with flights to and from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Harbin, Jinan and Haikou. Flights are also available to Seoul, Pusan (in South Korea), Osaka (in Japan) and Hong Kong.

Facilities:
Waiting Hall: The airport's Waiting Hall is divided into two parts- the Domestic Waiting Hall and the International Waiting Hall. The Domestic Hall covers an area of over 9,300 square meters (about 2.3 acres), and the International Hall is 10,000 square meters (around 2.47 acres). These halls are well designed and easy to navigate.

The Domestic Waiting Hall consists of two stories, the first floor including the Arrival's Hall, Departure Hall, Waiting Area, Ticket Hall, and Baggage Claim Area, as well as other offices. The second floor has a number of restaurants. The International Waiting Hall also has two levels. The first floor contains the Ticket Hall, Departure Hall, Customs, Commodity Inspection Area, Baggage Claim Area and Arrival's Hall, and the second floor is used for the Waiting Area, cafés, and restaurants.

Tarmac: With 12 parking stands, the Laishan Airport covers about 72,700 square meters (about 179.65 acres) and can handle large and small aircrafts.

Parking: Laishan Airport has a large parking area with fees calculated hourly. During the day (07:00-20:00), parking a small car costs about CNY3 per hour; larger vehicles cost CNY5. If you pick your vehicle up the following day between 20:00 and 07:00, expect to pay CNY4 for small vehicles and CNY6 for large.

Dining: On the second floor of the Domestic Waiting Hall and the International Waiting Hall, you will find a number of quality restaurants and cafés.
