Getting There

By Air

Now, the airport has opened up to Hong Kong, Seoul as well as dozens of large and medium cities in China like Shanghai, Beijing, Kunming and Shenzhen.

The first shuttle bus leaves at 07:20 and following buses depart with an interval of one hour. The last one heading for the airport leaves at 18:20. The bus from the airport to urban area stops at the South Ningbo Railway Station. The ticket for the shuttle bus is CNY 10. Alternatively, it costs about CNY 40 by taxi to go to the airport from the center area of the city (around Tianyi Square).

Generally speaking, the check-in starts 90 minutes to 30 minutes ahead of the plane's departure. Please reach the airport in time or you may miss the plane.

my china trip after a couple of days and i had a lot of destination to go, first i will go by plane bangkok to macaw, and from Macaw to Guangzhou, i found that tha air ticket from Macaw to Guangzhou is highly expensive, so is there any possibility to take any other kind of transportation like train or buses or even a taxi? and how much exactly does it cost by dollar? and how many hours does it takes with each transportation, from Guangzhou i reserved a plane to Shanghai with a good price, and from Shanghai i need to go to two areas: the first one is Ningbo, and after Ningbo i will go to Jiangxi at Jiujiang city, is it possible to take a bus or a train from Shanghai to Ningbo and then a bus or a train from Ningbo to Jiangxi? how many hours does it takes? and which transportation is better to go to those places?? please i need an urgent reply. thanks.

Mr.Shan replied:

Hello Ms, from Macau to Guangzhou, you could take a bus via Zhuhai. Firstly, please arrive at the Gongbei Bus Station which is just opposite to the Gongbei Customs Port between Macau and Zhuhai City. Then, you could catch a coach to arrive in downtown Guangzhou City in 3 hours. The bus fare is about 10US$ per person.

From Shanghai to Ningbo, there are frequent buses departing from Shanghai South Bus Station (at the south part of Shanghai South Railway Station)to Ningbo everyday. The bus fare is about 15US$ and the journey is about 2.5 hours.

Jiangxi in Jiujiang City? very strange~ I think it should be Jiujiang City in Jiangxi Province, right? There is one train running between Ningbo and Jiujiang everyday, taking about 14 hours one the way. The fare is about 18US$ for a hard-sleeper.

I have plan to go to Ningbo - Yuyao from Wuxi, is there any direct flight (I don't have much time to spare on the road) or will it be easier to take bus since the Hangzhou Bridge already in operation now

Jul. 7,2009 03:29
Mr.Hank replied:

Current there is no direct train or flight from Wuxi to Yuyao directly, so it is suggested that you transfer at Shanghai. For details:
Firstly, take a bus (2 hours) or an express train (less than 1.5 hours) from Wuxi respectively to Shanghai South Bus Station and Shanghai South Railway Station.

Second, trasfter to a bus or a train at the same station to Yuyao directly in 3.5 hours.
