Owing to its particular location on the coast of the East Sea and to the south of the Yangtze Delta, Ningbo has been an important Chinese trading port ever since the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties. It is also the communication hub of Eastern Zhejiang Province. This area has developed quickly these last few years and transportation in Ningbo has become quite convenient.
By City-bus
There are about 260 bus lines in Ningbo. Most of the lines charge between CNY1~CNY2. However, according to the distance of the line, some of the tickets would be over CNY2 but lower than CNY7. Most of the lines run in intervals of 4~20 minutes. Few lines run in intervals of 20~70 minutes. The earliest leaving time in the morning is during 05:00~07:00 (several long lines leaving at 08:30). The last bus leaves during 17:00~23:00. There are night lines in the city including Bus No.2 and also the lines among 205~291 (except 238). These lines usually only run after 18:00 and continue until 23:00 at night.

By Taxi
There are over 3000 taxies in Ningbo City, and they are divided into two categories: the standard category (Jetta, Red Flag, Santana, Passat) and the deluxe category (Audi). The standard category is CNY 8 for the first 3 kilometers (about 1.9 miles) and CNY1.8 for every additional kilometer (about 0.6 mile). The deluxe category is CNY 10 for the first 3 kilometers and CNY 2.3 for every additional kilometer. During 23:00 at night to 05:00 the next day, CNY 0.2 additional fee is added per kilometer. Also, fuel surcharges of CNY 1 should be paid every time.

it is not cheap. it is about 3 hours from ningbo to Yongkang. It is about 800RMB I guess, varies acoording to different types of cars. You can aks deom travl agency or tourist bus company to rent the car.

Two methods:
by bus: please go to Ningbo South Bus Station, there are six buses departing to Huzhou everyday, respectively at 07:35, 09:00, 11:05, 12:45, 14:15 and 16:00. The fare is 94RMB.
