You can apply for Individual Tourist Visa, please see its inforamtion on the official website again. You hold study visa, so you should have a temporary residence permit, then you can apply for Spanish visa at the embassy of Spain in beijing or Shanghai.

Ms.Calderon(Philippines ) said:
Dear Sir/ Madam, Sorry for inquiring this matter over the internet for my brother and I are desperately in need of help and options. We've been there in your visa application office twice and have submitted all the necessary documents even the purchased return tickets. In the times we've been there and called your office prior to being at your embassy, we have been assured several times that the process would only take 3 working days. With that in mind, we have already booked and purchased our London ticket from Beijing. They even gave us a confirmation date of July 7 to get our passport. But after a day of submitting all the necessary documents, someone from the embassy called me apologizing and informing that it would take at least 2 weeks for the visa to be processed and asked me if i still would want to proceed with it. And now we are stuck with non-refundable and re-bookable tickets going to London on the 10th of July. And they called me to inform me about this unfortunate news, today, friday ( July 3) at 3:17 p.m. Now I cannot further inquire about this incident at the embassy since they close at 3 p.m. and now we have to wait until the weekend pass. Is there any other way and hope for us?
Thank you and a quick response will be greatly appreciated.
