Taxies and three-wheeled vehicles are very convenient in the city area. Usually the taxi fee is up to CNY20.00 net and CNY4.00 net for three-wheeled vehicle would be enough to transfer from one site to another. Also, please do be prepared with some small change when visiting these temples, as it is traditional to make token donations before the Buddhist images.

On the first day, of your tour you can start by visiting the Ramoche Monastery, which is also called the "Minor Jokhang Temple". The temple is situated north of the famous Barkhor Street, in front of it is a business street, which reflects the day to day life of the local people. The most holy figure in Ramoche Monastery is the life-sized statue of the 8-year-old Sakyamuni, which was brought to Tibet by the Nepalese Chizun Princess. At present, the temple is where Tibetan lamas come to study Mi Zong, one of the Buddhist sects. The entrance fee for this temple is CNY20.00 per person, and it is open between 09:00 and 17:00 daily. We suggest that you allow an hour for this visit. Our next stop is the Morui Printing Institution, also in the city center. This is the only sutra printing house in Tibet. You will find that it is very quiet and peaceful as not too many tourists are aware of it. Entry to the institution is free of charge and half an hour would be enough for a visit. A small donation will permit you to take good photos of the Potala Palace from the third floor of the institute. After lunch, we will go on to visit the Barlupu Temple, dedicated to the worship of General Guan Yu. It is located west of Potala Palace, and is open from 09:00 to 17:00. Allow 20-30 minutes here. The admission fee is only CNY10.00. Finally, we will head for the Dragon King Pool, which is located behind the Potala Palace, and is one of Lhasa's famous gardens in with wonderful scenery. It is a choice place for travelers to have a wander or perhaps take a boat while observing the local lifestyle. Admission fee is CNY10.00 net and opening time is from 09:00 to 17:30.
On the second day, we will visit the Niara Folk Landscape Village, Deche Lhamo Temple, Anisangkhang Temple and Nechong State oracle monastery. The Niara Folk Landscape Village is 6 km north of Lhasa City, and in the main gives an insight into the mysteries of Tibetan folk culture. Bus No. 503 will take you there direct, and the admission fee is CNY50.00 net per person. The next stop is Deche Lhamo Temple, also located in the north part of the city. This is the only temple dedicated to the God of Wealth so many people come here seeking prosperity, safety and health. According to the local people, a visit here can be very efficacious! Wednesday is the best time to come, as the temple opens at 06:00 in the morning and is free of charge. Then on to the Anisangkhang Temple, which is located south of Barkhor Street. A feature of this temple is a collection of more than 150 varieties of nut. The admission fee is CNY30.00 net per person. The final stop on our tour is the Nechong State Oracle Temple. This small temple forms part of the Drepung Monastery, once Tibet's largest and wealthiest. It was here that the Oracle would act as advisor to Dalai Lamas. Entrance fee is CNY20.00 net, and you can take bus No. 3 or taxi to reach this venue.
