  Tour: Information
After arrival at Agra, take a tuktuk car to the world-famous Taj Mahal, a must-see for millions of visitors to India. Taj Mahal, a monument of the symbol of love, is one of the wonders in the history of Indian architecture and is hailed as the most beautiful building in India. Walking through the Islamist-style arch, you will see a Mughal garden with a rectangle marble pool built in the middle. At the end of the pool you can see the main mausoleum, built with white marble, standing on a square plinth. Each of the four corners of plinth has a tower in the typical Muslim style. If weather permit, visiting Taj Mahal at sunrise can be a good experience.

Next, take a tuktuk to Agra Fort, with the history of more than 400 years. As one of the most exquisite castles in Mughal period, Agra Fort was built in a magnificent and splendid style and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983. The 20-meter-high wall was entirely built by red sand tone, one kind of the most iconic building materials in India, looks majestic in the sunlight. It was once the imperial palace of the Mughal Empire, and Agra Fort is one of the witnesses to its history. By visiting palaces of different styles built in different periods inside, you can get a glimpse of the history of India in Mughal period.

Another tuktuk ride will take you to visit the Tomb of I'tim d-ud-daulah, nicknamed as Baby Taj. It was built by the queen of Jahangir in memory of her father, and the overall structure is largely influenced by the Persian architectural style. There are so many similarities to the Taj Mahal when it comes to layout, structure and materials. Although far behind the Taj Mahal in scale, it is more delicate. The surface is inlaid with various precious gems, so it is also called Jewelry box. And there are far fewer tourists than the Taj Mahal, so you can take a look at this beautiful building at a leisurely pace.

If time permits, you can get to Mehtab Bagh, a Mughal garden built by Akbar's craftsmen. Situated at the bank of Yamuna River, it is a great place to overview the Taj Mahal, and countless stunning images of Taj Mahal are captured here. Stroll along the tranquil garden and far away from the chaos is also a good way to relax.

After full day tour, catch the return night bus back to Delhi. Of course, book a round way ticket is the most convenient.
