Botswana Luxury Fly-in Safari

If your location is Victoria Falls, you may choose to start this tour by departing from Kasane Airport or Kasane Border Post. Then you will be transferred to Chobe Game Lodge where we will stay for the next two nights. Chobe is one of the main habitants of wild elephants in Africa, home to about 50,000. The Chobe River, on the northern border of Chobe National Park, is rich in wildlife, including elephants, hippos and a variety of birds.

Today the driver guide will escort you to enjoy a boat cruise and have a game drive at Chobe National Park. During the dry season, herds of cattle and buffaloes flock to the fertile floodplains along the Chobe River to drink, bathe or frolic. Animals like lion, African wild dog, puku, red lechwe, giraffe and roan antelope are easy to be found.

After having breakfast and doing the last game drive in the morning, the driver will send you to Kasane Airstrip, where you can take the charter flight to Savuti and spend two days there. Upon landing, the driver will pick you up and send you to the lodge. Savuti is located in the heart of Botswana's Chobe National Park. It was a huge inland lake until a crustal movement cut off its water source thousands of years ago, leaving the swamp's only water source the Savuti water channel today. Here, you can enjoy the spectacular views of African jungles and wildlife.

Today we are going to have game drive around Savuti in open 4×4 safari vehicles. During the safari, you will also have chance to visit the famous Savuti Marsh. In addition, you will visit San Rock Paintings at Gubatsa Hills, which has become a famous landmark locally.

After finishing game drive in the morning, the driver will transfer you to the local Airstrip for a charter flight to Moremi. The local driver will pick you up then and send you to the lodge. Known as one of Africa's most beautiful wildlife reserves, the Moremi Game Reserve covers much of the eastern part of the Okavango Delta. Here you will have the opportunity to see some endangered wildlife such as Red Lechwe, as well as a rich variety of birds and wild animals such as lions and cheetahs.

After a delicious breakfast and the morning safari in Moremi GR, take a charter flight to the lodge in Okavango Delta. Okavango Delta, located in the northwest corner of Botswana, is the largest inland delta in the World, which covers 15,000 square kilometers and is also a World Heritage Site. The spectacular Okavango River flows through the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert, eventually forming a vibrant oasis. As an oasis of many winding waterways and water-lily lagoons, as well as fertile floodplains and reed-laden islands, is a paradise for a wide range of wildlife. Here, you will have the chance to take part in a number of interesting activities, such as game viewing, fishing, birding watching, or sailing through the wetlands in a Mokoro. Some of the most common animals here include lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.

Today we plan to explore the majestic Okavango Delta. Because the Camp Okavango is a water-based camp, we can't do game drives here. But don't worry, the experienced guide will first lead you to travel through the reed-filled waterways, and enjoy a leisurely tour on the vast waters in the modern motorboat or in the traditional Mokoro. If you want to get closer to nature, you can join a guided bush walk on some nearby islands to explore the trail of larger land-based species in the area.
