Dalian Train Schedule

There are two railway stations in the city, Dalian Railway Station, and North Railway Station.

Dalian Railway Station is located on Changjiang Road; it is the largest railway station in the city. It is the railway terminus of Harbin – Dalian Line. Currently trains from there can reach to Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Tianjin, Harbin and other places. Besides, it is very convenient for one to transfer to other kinds of transportations in the station, such as airplane and ship.

The North Railway Station is a new constructed one mainly built for high speed rails to Harbin and Dandong. From there passengers can go to Beijing, Tianjin, Changchun, and Jilin.

I would like to go to Pyongyang by train, please suggest how to plan.

There is a train K27 can take you to Pyongyang, the train leaves from Beijing and has a stop in Dandong, and you can take train from Dalian to Dandong and then board on the train there. But the train tickets are always under great demand, please book your tickets in advance to guarantee the availability. If there is no tickets in Dandong, then you can go to Beijing to take the train.

How to go from Dalian North Station to Dalian Maritime University?

You may choose to go from the North Station to Qixianling by line 1 and then exit from B2 gate to take bus No. 1121 to the university directly. If you take taxi, it is faster, around 30min but much expensive.

How long it takes to go from Dalian North Station to airport?

Is there any direct bus? Do you think 2.5 hours is enough for me to catch a flight from the train station?

There are direct bus like 908 and 1301 which need at least 1 hour on the way. If you want to be faster, you would need taxi. By taxi, it would be around 30min, but you need to prepare a little extra time for getting a taxi. 2.5 hours is possible for domestic flights if you take a taxi. If for international flight, usually it is better to reach he airport about 3 hours in advance. For international flight, 2.5 hours is surely not enough.

How much baggage can I take on the train

The policy says 20kg per person, but you can still take more than that as long as they do not looks too large. The luggage is hardly weighted in fact

i want to buy tickets from beijing to dalian. Do you have tickets for children?

Yes, if your child is between 1.2 m and 1.5 m, he can buy a child ticket and if he is below 1.2 m, he will enjoy free ticket. While, he need to share one bunk with the adult.
