Dandong Train Schedule
In Dandong, only Dandong Railway Station is frequently used by passengers.
It is China’s closest railway station to North Korea and operates international train K27 to Pyongyang of North Korea. The railway station also handles domestic high speed trains and normal speed trains. Through high speed trains, the railway station is linked with Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, Dalian, Harbin, Jilin, Shanhaiguan, Yanji and etc. Through normal speed trains, the railway station is connected with Beijing, Shenyang, Harbin, Qiqihar, Jinzhou, Tonghua, Shanhaiguan and so on.
Before the attack of Covid-19 on every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, Beijing - Pyongyang Train K27 had a stop at Dandong on the way to Pyongyang. It departed from Dandong at 10:00 Beijing Time and arrived at Pyongyang at around 18:00 Pyongyang Time the same day. The train is expected to serve passengers again very soon.

00ReplyHushan Great Wall is about 18 kilometers away from the urban area. You can take a taxi and it costs about CNY40. The entrance fee is CNY60 per person.
If you prefer to take the public bus, then you can find the bus to Hushan at the exit of Dandong train station, the departure time of the buses are 08:35, 09:50, 12:00 and 16:30. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes.

00ReplyThe ticket price is just doubled for one way trip. No discount for round trip ticket, so RMB108.5 X 2 for second class and RMB173.5 X 2 for first class
