There is seldom ferry between Hong Kong and Guangzhou. So, you could consider take a bus or a train to arrive in Guangzhou easily. The bus routes could be found at: http://ctsbus.hkcts.com/home/home.html

Mr.Shan replied:
At the Guangzhou Provincial Bus Station(省汽车客运站), there are 11 coaches departing to Naning from 07:45 to 23:00. The fare is CNY180. However, they are not sleeper bus. I think you could purchase the ticket on the spot if you are not in tight travel.
Actually, I think you could take a train from Guangzhou to Nanning as well. It also just takes you about 12~13 hours, but you could purchase a hard-sleeper with about 190RMB. The train schedule could be searched here: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

Mr.Shan replied:
1. there are direct coaches could be used for traveling from HK to Foshan directly. You could catch the bus at the Metropark Hotel Mongkok or the Metropark Hotel Causeway Bay Hongkong (09:20, 17:50 and 19:20), the latter one which is very close to the South Pacific Hotel.
2. From the City Terminal of Foshan, you could take a bus to get to Guangzhou Airport in 1.5 hours directly. The buses leave for the airport from 05:00 until to 21:00 with an interval of about 20~30 minutes. The terminal is located at 1/F, Lanshi(International)Metal Trade Center, Kuiqi Road, Chancheng District, Foshan City.

Mr.Jerry replied:
Do you mean XInyi International Club in Fangcun? It costs much to the place by taxi, for they are about 55km from each other. Suggest you take a airport bus to the city center, such as Liwan Plaza, and then take change to a taxi to Xinyi.

How much is the fare by bus from Hongkong airport to guangzhou Also by water from Hongkong airport to Gunagzhou via Shenzen
Oct. 17,2009 21:19
Mr.Andrew replied:
it depends where are you heading for in Guangzhou. It takes 200-270HKD for 2.5-3.5 hours to different districts of the city. by water via Shenzhen?! There seems to be only one ferry from HKIA directly to Nanshan of Guangzhou, costing 304HKD for only one hour.
