Changchun Longjia International Airport
Airport Code: CGQ 
Location: Changchun Longjia International Airport is located on the convergence of Jiutai City and Longjia Town, on the Changchun-Jilin Highway, 18 kilometers (11 miles) away from the east changchun outlet of the highway. The airport is about 21 kilometers (13 miles) to Changchun's city area and 62 kilometers (39 miles) to Jilin City. Brief Intro: Opened in August, 2005 as the largest civil airport in Jilin Province, Changchun Longjia International Airport provides convenient air transport services for Changchun and Jilin, the two largest cities in Jilin Province.It was built under the 4D standard, with the terminal covering 40,000 square meters (9.9 acres) to enable it a yearly capacity of handling 3,200,000 passengers. Well-equipped with such facilities as smoking rooms, first-class lounges, banks, post office, shops, etc; the terminal is specially designed with 7 boarding bridges, which greatly expedite the procedures of either departure or arrival. It is presently connected to over 30 domestic cities and serves International flights to Hong Kong, South Korea (Seoul), Japan (Tokyo, Sendai and Nagoya), Russia (Vladivostok and Irkutsk) and other major cities in the near future, like Sydney.
Facilities
As an international airport, it has complete facilities in the terminal building. In addition to shop, pub, Chinese and western restaurants, bank, post office, money exchanger, lounge for moms and babies, first-class cabin lounge and recreation room for irregular flights. In the entrance, there are elevators special for the handicapped and medical treatment is available beside the elevators. Wireless internet is accessible too.

Airport Shuttle Bus
Shuttle buses depart every an hour from Quan'an Guangchang (Quan'an Square) since 06:00 in the morning and reach the airport in 40 minutes. No buses are in service since 90 minutes before the last flight leaving (Usually the last bus departs at 17:00).

Jilin City also has three shuttle buses a day to the airport. They depart from the civil aviation ticket office in No.2288, Chongqing Road to Changchun Airport. Passenger can catch the bus at 05:30, 07:30 and 12:00 in Jilin and 11:30, 16:30 and 21:00 in the airport back to Jilin. The ticket cost CNY40 per person.
Taxi
Compared with the price CNY20 by airport shuttle bus, about CNY100 taxi fare is expensive, however convenient. Additional CNY5 should be paid if taxis manage to get inside the airport and it is necessary to pay while getting out. It is not economical to take a taxi to Jilin, unless it is too late in the evening and no shuttles buses at all. Usually, at least CNY200 – CNY300 (can bargain on the price before getting in a taxi) should be paid for the 90 kilometers (about 56 miles) to Jilin City. For the sake of safety, it is suggested that making a stay in Changchun and then transfer to a regular bus to Jilin. Consider to spend a night in Changchun if there are not any buses found in Changshun bus stations at night.

If some one knows how can take visa from the nearest Embassy or consulate in Changchun, help me please.And How much fly to Nagoya from Changchun? I do want to know these way. because i am new student. I do not know everything in Changchun.

You should get to the Consulate-General of Japan in Shenyang. Address: 50, Shisiwei Road, Heping District. The air ticket may cost more than 3000RMB for single trip. Hope this helps.

i had been to changchung airport before almost 21 months agoand when i saw this airport i was felling too muc relaxation because i was afraid at beijing airport due to many passengers and people there.And when i came in the check in then security officers made me happy by their good handelling and nice behave.i was in jilin for sometime and then i back to pakistan but still i miss that airport moment and specially the love of jilin people.miss u all.fazal mehmood(chinese name fa zha)
