Beijing Railway Station has several trains a day to Taian (Taishan Railway Station). Bullet trains can take you there 3.54 hours later. Ordinary ones will take 7-8 hours. Taishan Bus Station is 100meters east of Taishan Railway Station. There are many buses to Linyi. The last bus is before 5:30pm. The journey is about 2 hours.

Ms.Evelyn(China) replied:
The safest and cheapest transportation to Linyi is to take a train. You can take the airport bus at the exit of the Jinan airport to go to the Jinan Railway Station. There are four trains from Jinan Railway Station to Linyi Railway Station. The leaving time is at 05:04, 08:11, 17:05 and 18:38. If you cannot catch the final train, you may go to the long-distance bus station from the Jinan airport by airport bus directly and take a coach bus to Linyi.
