2011 F1 Chinese Grand Prix
Highlight: Shanghai is a paradise for F1 lovers. The competition is usually held here in September or October. In 2011, it is Apr. 15th-17th.

2011 Dunlop Shanghai Golden Grand Prix
Highlight: Dunlop Shanghai Golden Grand Prix is a top annual series of track and field meets which has been held globally from 2010 onwards. It has replaced the previous Golden League, which has been held annually since 1998. The 2011 Dunlop Shanghai Golden Grand Prix will be staged with 7 men's and 9 women's disciplines in accordance with regulations of the IAAF.

The 14th FINA World Championships 2011
Highlight: The 14th FINA World Championships are scheduled for July 16–31, 2011 in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. The 2011 World Championships will feature the 5 aquatics disciplines, including swimming, water polo, diving, open water, and synchronized swimming. Portions of these championships will most likely serve as part of the qualifying for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

ATP 1000 (Association of Tennis Professionals 1000)
Highlight: ATP 1000 is a brand new tennis competition in Shanghai. The predecessor of ATP 1000 is the Tennis Masters Cup which had been held in Shanghai seven times (in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010). Unlike the Tennis Masters Cup, which is the top competition among the world top eight tennis masters at the end of each year, ATP 1000 is a series of games among over 80 tennis masters. If you are a fan of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Nikolay Davydenko or other tennis masters, do not hesitate to go.

'HSBC Cup' Golf World Championship

2011 'Toray Cup' Shanghai International Marathon
Highlight: It has been held every year since 1996. If you love marathon, you can go and watch this exciting run. If you are interested in joining in, please make sure you are qualified to apply as a runner; i.e. you should be 18 years old or above (born before Dec. 31st, 1991) and practise long-distance running on a regular basis.
