2. Expedited Service Fee per Person
The regular processing time of a visa is 5 working days. For urgent cases, the expedited service is available. Moreover, additionalfees will be paid as following:

1. Qualified original invitation letter from the relevant Chinese Authorized Unit;
2. Qualified original invitation & guarantee letter with signature and stamp from the applicant's sponsor and business partner in China. The letter should state clearly applicant's name, position and passport number, applicant's company name, address and telephone number, purpose of visit, duration of stay and specific itinerary in China;
3. Qualified original introduction letter with the full name, title, date & signature of the issuing person from applicant's company. The letter should state clearly applicant's name, present occupation and position in the company, purpose of the visit, intended duration of stay, city intended to visit, name and address of applicant's business partner in China, items and quantity of goods planned to order and purchase;
4. Original Certificate of Incorporation;
5. Any proof of business connection with the inviting company in China (e.g. fax of business negotiation, contract, agreement, quotations of goods, invoices, bill of lading, etc.)
6. Applicant's passport copy--------Bio-data pages.

A Chinese friend of mine is getting married in China in December & he has written an original invitation letter. I have other documents (passport, bank statement, letter from my employer). Is there anything else I require? Secondly, as the major reason for my visit is his wedding (plan to spend only 5 days),what should I fill in section 2 of the application form ie major purpose of visit. Should I tick other and write friend's wedding in bracket or should I tick tourism and also tick other specifying friend's wedding in bracket. Lastly, most I make a flight reservation before I apply for the visa. I look forward to your reply. Thanks.

I think you can tick other specifying friend's wedding in bracket on the Section 2 of the Visa Application Form, besides your original passport, the copy of the first three pages of your passport, one completed visa application form attached with one recent passport photo, two-way air ticket are also required.

You have to apply for a visa to China, but according to your statement, you can't apply for Business visa although you come to China for business, the Tourist Visa is relatively easy to apply for, I advice that you contact a qualified visa agency to join a group. The visa gency will help you to get a visa.

Yes, you should present the original documents for the China visa application. It normally takes 4 working days for the China Embassy to issue a visa.

All you need is to confirm your letter first from chinese embassy in Lagos or Abuja.
Nigeria coming to do business in china may not be giving six months presently, unless you are coming for Work or Study.

You should apply for a China L tourist visa with the following documents:
1. Your passport with blank pages and at least 6 months validity left before expiration.
2. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. Round-trip air ticket
4. Hotel reservation.
5. Bank Statement in recent three months.

No one here can give you exact answer to whether your visa would be refused or not, for we are travellers not the China Embassy in Nigeria.
