The spelling of lunch and dinner in Oxford or Longman dictionaries for every tour operator and everyone is exactly the same. But the make-up of the meals by tour operators varies in nature. Please see our arrangement for the differences in each city:
1. For Beijing Roast Duck Dinner, we will drive you to a famous restaurant, where you can be certain of a real treat and have a taste of the most decent duck dinner in Beijing with a very nice environment.
2. In Beijing, we would schedule you a perfect chance to taste the traditional imperial dishes which used to be served to the Chinese royal family. The restaurant is garden-style and you can enjoy the wonderful views while dining.
3. As the Great Wall is far from the downtown area, a good restaurant is hard to find, but we have made great endeavour to discover one. Rather than use one or other of the cheap Friendship Store restaurants with pushy sales persons, we will drive you to a nice and decent local Sichuan Cuisine restaurant. This arrangement can effectively avoid mass-produced cheap food and has added advantage that you will not be distracted by being expected to tour some attached shops or showrooms, even though we pay high cost for the food and transfer.
4. On the last day in Beijing, an a la carte lunch will be offered at an elegant restaurant so that you will enjoy more diversified Chinese cuisine.
Xian:
2. For lunch on the day tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, we carefully select a restaurant which is one of the best local dinning places instead of poor conditioned tourist ones.
3. We recommend the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace (Address: No.75, Chang'an Road, Xian). The show is a visual delight which recreates the traditional entertainment and enables you to experience the glorious Tang Dynasty.
Shanghai:A la carte Chinese lunch at a local Restaurant will offer you a chance to appreciate the delicate Shanghai cuisine which is totally different from Cantonese or Sichuan food.
